Friend and I are getting back into wow. We stopped playing during LK. I'm going to be playing a hunter and he is playing a monk. My question is what comp would be the best option for us in arena? I have already seen that I will be going BM. So what should we try for 2's and what third should we be looking for in a 3's?

In 2s I'd say you should go...hunter/monk?

In 3s get a disc priest. Disc priests engage facerolling mode regardless of the comp and your 3s would already have a BM hunter AND priest. You can do 2vs5, the monk is just in for the ride.

WW/Hunter in 2s can be very strong if played well. Hunter can fall back to pre-set WW healing spheres, WW's can get away very very easily; lots of chances to get away and get a bit of a semi-reset.

Unfortunately one of the WW's best defensives (if he can't get away) can be negated by a variety of classes (rogue, mage, paladin, DK), many of which are very popular in 2s.

So what I would do in your case, play whatever comp and spec you enjoy the most.

Agree. As long as the skill factor is there, you can probably make it to 2k with any comp that wasn't deliberately constructed to be terrible.

I think u should have the monk heal if u want to go high, if ur playing for fun and fine with sticking around 1500-1800 double dps works aswell
