Can hunters solo Uldar/ToT/ICC for transmog? What iLevel?

I want to farm ICC for transmog items on my newly dinged 90 hunter. Can hunters beat all the boss mechanics (especially the ship)? What iLevel would you recomend before farming there?

I am grinding up in LFR to get my upgrades. I think if I get an overall iLevel of 520+ with gems and enchants, go in BM with pet tanking glyphs, I should be able to solo any WOTLK.

Any advice?

The ship is the one I have had the most problem with , it can be done , especially if you have low pings and are reasonably co-ordinated .

Ulduar is easy -though I haven't tried the last boss yet - I do Naxx 25 man most weeks , Mally 10 man is easy enough , 25 man a bit harder - would need higher then 520 I think . OS 25 man 3D was soloable last expansion , the one in Wintergrasp is soloable --just kite the bosses --I even managed earth wind and fire achieve at Ilvl 520 . totC 10 man is easy 25 man is pretty doable but I often get stuck at the horde champs

I am by no means a pro hunter either so you should be fine --( naxx 25 man is great -- you get around 1200 gold per run from selling all the drops plus whatever 6-10 stacks of frostweave cloth is worth on your server ( around 30 a stack average on mine )

I believe every boss can be done in 25HC at that iLvl(Lich King 25HC was done in 500-ish iLvl). Thought there are a few that require some healing or have mechanics that are pretty irritating to deal with(Gunship, Dreamwalker).

Dreamwalker requires 5 spirit beasts on a dismiss/call pet rotation to keep the heal on her.

I've been able to solo everything on 25man heroic so far.

Only boss in WotLK which gave me a semi-hard time was Thorim and all i had to do was practice the solo strat i got from youtube.

I've cleared 25 man heroic when I was around 537. Gunship was by far the hardest and marrowgar is a bit of a gearcheck since if your pet cannot break the spike in one hit you'll be too far behind in healing to complete the encounter.

when you say tot you probably mean trial of the crusader. That's also soloable on 25hc but faction champions are a huge gearcheck since if you cannot burst 3-4 million damage in a couple of seconds its not possible.

yeah, that gets you killed by cleave and the bone spikes have about 150k hp which means your pet basic attack needs to crit if you have lower ilevel. If you're on the spike for more than 3 seconds you won't have enough healing to catch up before the next one

Ulduar: Knowing tacs is paramount even though the content is two expansions ago. Except for Flame Leviathan, Thorim and Yogg, all the bosses shouldnt pose any difficulties.
For FL you should look at videos to learn how to position vehicles etc.
For Thorim you should learn how to be able to enter gauntlet without despawning the boss or getting one shotted.
Yogg will test your abilities in regards to pet control (Depending on the ammount of helpers though).

ToC: Except the third boss(es) there shouldnt be any problem though you can fail if you dont know tactics. As for the last boss you should get a turtle or a pet like that incase your dps isnt high enough to be able to tank the adds.

And ICC is doable (Dreamwalker requires you to have 5 spirit beasts to be doable though) aslong as you know tactics and specifics for the individual bosses and what to watch out for.

The best way to find out what you can and can't do is to go there and try. If you havent tried before, I would recommend to start on 10 man, good luck!
