Question Alchemy - Mixology : Do alchemist still have twice the duration of flasks ?

    Hello

Title says it all, do alchemist still have twice the duration of flasks, and if so, what must they do for this huge benefit ?

Sorry if this thread is redundant, but this information is somehow important, and the answer is not to be found easily, neither in patch notes nor on wow head, so I venture to create a thread.

In game test seem to show that one has to wear the profession specific trinket for the flasks to last two hours instead of one, but could someone corroborate this please ?

    Help greatly appreciated !

Trinkets have nothing to do with Flask duration - at very least I'm not using one and still getting 2 hours. It's probably the same as it always was - sufficient Alchemy level and ability to craft the very flasks you drink. Even assuming the latter isn't true, the former probably is, so ~600 Alchemy should be enough.

Added time on flasks was a profession perk. They removed *ALL* profession perks in WoD so no, you get the same one hour as everyone else. To be more annoying, seems specializations don't matter in WoD either. They still proc for stuff sub-601 but nothing at 601+.

Uh, yes you do get 2 hours. Both +200 and +250 flasks. You don't get *bonus stats* from the flasks.

As an aside, anyone with Elixir Master know if it's still proccing flasks? Made nearly 50 but didn't make any extra.

None of specializations do anything for WoD stuff.

That really sucks. Why would blizzard remove prof specializations? Not like it was any kind of game changer, just was a nice bonus for the crafter.
Being constructive feels good. You should try it.

Because Blizz is slowly trying to kill off professions... or something like that.

Mixology does work. And specializations are gone. But if you have an alchemy building you should be churning out a ton of flasks and such.

I wouldn't say they're trying to go about it slowly.

    A) There's no transmutes, so transmutation mastery is completely useless to begin with and B) The only thing that uses alchemical catalysts are greater flasks, resulting people flock to elixer specialization for bonus flasks to capitalize catalyst useage.

Flasks for Alchemists that can make the recipe, last for 2Hours instead of 1.
They however, do NOT give the +40%~ stat increase that they once did.
