    [Disc] Help me improve

Title says it all, really. I believe that my healing is average or slightly above average but I want to be as good as I can possibly be. Here's my armory.

Here is 10/10H and M-Beastlord. Here is M-Oregorger. And finally, here is M-Gruul.

The first log was done by the guild I trialed with so I have no other logs there(besides what we raided this week). The last two logs I linked were recorded by me. Feel free to go through all of my logs if you feel you need to. I swap out my Chew Toy for a Talisman whenever I feel like I need additional mana. Other than that, that's the gear that I have. I can't swap in mastery pieces for tier since I don't have them.

My main concerns are about Cascade timing/uptime and my low Divine Aegis numbers. I try to time my Cascade to do the lowest amount of overhealing it can but it always seems to hit 50% overhealing, so I'm starting to think I should just mash it on CD. As far as low Divine Aegis numbers, I don't know. I guess I can/should be PoHing twice since I have 4pc. I just feel as if a non-crit PoH would be a waste of mana and time spent PWSing.

Did a fast check and your AA uptime is kinda low on most fights.

You're barely using penance and you're smiting for evangelism so you're better of using mindbender.

I don't think there's anything wrong with my logs. I'm just looking for areas that I can improve on. This is the first time I've healed heroic(mythic) fights as a priest so I'm looking to get better.

I averaged around 44-45% uptime on Gruul and Oregorger. My Beastlord uptime was only 38% so a lot of room for improvement there. I typically don't pop it on CD and try to save it for an EAA PoH. Should I just pop it on CD then? Or does it depend on the fight?

I agree that my Penance usage is subpar. Gonna have to make a Weakaura so I stop spamming shields. As far as Smite goes, I typically only Smite on the pull. I know that Mindbender was recently buffed but is it really on par with Solace now?

After you pop it you got 30 secs to cast EAA wich should be enough to pop it on cd. Its ok to sometimes delay it a little but not much, the extra healing you get from it will help your pw:s be stronger aswell. I often pop it with 4 stacks aswell, if comes off cd like that.

Mindbender overtakes Solace typically when you have 2 set and at least 12,5% haste buffed. Tho with less haste and good use durning BL/PI it will already be better aswell. Here a calculation:

I can understand Oregorger to an extent, but on a fight like Gruul you should look to push mid-high 50s for archangel percentage uptime, there really isn't a point where saving it is worthwhile because you can always be making use of higher strength shields to pre-empt the next slash or blanketing during smash phase. Regardless of timing, there will always be a point during the 18s uptime of EAA that you can effectively cast the POH. The only other thing that really stands out to me is that you use fade glyph, but rarely make use of it (no casts on Oregorger, 1 on Gruul) - with 30 sec CD and no GCD, you can make better use of this. It's not huge, but it'll help.

I've made a Penance Weakaura so I'll be using it on CD now instead of holding onto it for some emergency heals. I'll give Mindbender a go this coming week and see how it goes. Those extra 5 globals every minute will be nice.

I was just using the Fade glyph on Gruul for the earlier pulls. The slash didn't do anywhere near the damage I thought it was going to do but I'll keep using it and try to get better usage out of it next time.

As far as EAA goes, I think I've been overly concerned with mana so I've been holding EAA for PoHs with my 4pc. I'll move away from that and just start popping it on CD. Hopefully I can get some offset pieces to replace my 4pc since it doesn't seem that good in practice.

Thanks for the input btw, I appreciate all of the time and effort gone into your replies and actually looking over some of my logs. I'll take everything you have to say into consideration since this is the second tier I've healed and the first I've healed as a priest; so I have a lot to learn.

Your armory has been shadow everytime i looked, but just make sure you have spirit on all your items and try go for chew toy and candle + maybe a spirit trinket for mana heavy fights. I dont find 4 set worth it atm, maybe on kromog but im not sure yet. But generally with that and good usage of solace/mindbender and potions you shouldn´t have mana problems using EAA PoH when needed.

Finally got the hang of Mindbender gameplay. Arch Angel uptime was much, much better. Still room for improvement but that'll just come with playing more. Any final tips/tricks/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks for all of the input so far.

Looking nice, only thing I could say about the log above is you should be utilising those EAAs more
