Where do I start with my raiding?

I haven't raided in a proper way, except for LFR, since TBC. Raided as a prot and ret pally back then. What I need is someone or a few people telling me where I start with my gear and what kind of DPS I can expect from my paladin.
I've only been able to do lfr and and a bit o tanaan. My work has made it nearly impossible to raid. But since I'm studying now I have more time to kill than Before!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
