Runescape Ban, seemingly out of nowhere, any suggestions?

Hey guys, I don't know how many of you play, or have played runescape at some point, but I decided to log onto my account this morning out of a sense of nostalgia. To my extreme displeasure, it appears I have been permanently banned for "Macroing". I've tried looking for someone to talk to, some kind of support on the matter but after reading my options on the website I find myself absolutely gobsmacked by the lack of action I can take.

On my account status it says "Macroing; Major Ban 07-Nov-2015, the thing is I haven't played runescape in more than 4 months, this is impossible, I also had the security pin to log in, so I can't imagine how I've been hacked.

Upon clicking evidence, it says this: Your account has been involved in serious rule-breaking. We don't currently share any evidence we hold relating to this type of rule breaking, as to do so may compromise our detection methods.

Are they serious? do they really do bans like this? without any evidence what so ever, and giving me no chance at all to talk to, or explain to anyone what has happened?

I tried going through the support section of the site but all it says is this: It means that we deem the rule-breaking serious enough to remove the account from RuneScape for the duration of the ban. We do not process appeals, tickets or emails about any of the ban types mentioned above. We will not enter into debate about these type of bans on our forums, Twitter, Facebook or through any other method of communication.

So is that it? all those years of time gone? I'm heartbroken about this, if anyone has any advice I would love to hear it!

Edit: So it turns out I wasn't banned, I tried logging in for a third time and it just let me straight on through, must have been some sort of technical issue. Thanks to people that responded, moderators can close this thread now if they wish

Good Idea, I'll try that, although I am worried about this part of the support page: "We will not enter into debate about these type of bans on our forums, Twitter, Facebook or through any other method of communication". That's basically saying they won't even entertain the idea that I'm innocent.
