How does the mercenary feature work?

    Dear all,

since it is triple Honor from tomorrow I am planning to farm some Honorpoints to buy some xmog weapons. In case I got terrible long qeues is the mercenary feature live already?

If so where do you use it and how do you sign up as the opposing faction?

thanks a lot for all the answers

    Yes it's live.
You talk to the npc in warspear / Stormshield near the entrance to Ashran.
There are 2 npc's, one for Bg's other for Ashran.
You talk, queue up and that's it.

But the npc's will only show if queues are high enough, else they won't show up.
Horde side they rarely show up.

To clarify, they only show up on the faction with the longest queues, (alliance) and even then, only when the difference in queue length gets high enough. So if you are Horde looking to play as a Merc for Allies, youre rarely going to get that opportunity. At least on US servers.
