I'm making all my food, flasks and pots myself. Takes a couple of hours farming for 3-4 weeks worth of raid consumables. I have 12 stats of 375 food and 3 weeks of flasks waiting to be used. The only pricey thing is augment runes and those are being saved for mythic raids.

I got my good share of gold, but it's annoying me that I dont have the time to farm my own mats and craft my own food and pots because of IRL.

Each pull is 4000~ gold here. I dont not raid enough hours to go bankrupt.

LUL @ these 750g pots, pots are 2.4k on tarren mill EU earlier today.

i think square will be sueing blizzard for stealing ideas, remember throw gil? pots are literally THROW GOLD at the boss around 96gold per second for a pot lol.

If I can't make it, I won't be using it. My main is barely above 10k and I'm already burning out just doing normal content much less trying to stick around to farm gold from other WQ and missions.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

I just dumped engi for herb for the time being.

Starlight Roses arent particularly difficult to get, Fjanskaggl on the other hand can go suck a major bag of dicks

The only thing this says about the current state of WoW is that (1) expectations for people to be gemmed and potted and whatever out the ass are even more out of control than usual, and (2) people made an assload of gold in WoD and now they're bitching about having to spend it on items whose prices are inflated SOLELY because there is so much gold in the economy. There is no real shortage of mats. It was a pain in the ass to farm mats back in WoD. It was a little easier in MoP.

You should have saved up gold from all those heroic and mythic carries.

And maybe you don't have to prepot or even use a potion at all on every pull, at least till you know the dance. Maybe you can eat cheap food until you know the dance.

I am trying to be smart about what I use how. I am using the best flasks, because they last through multiple wipes. I'm using 300 buff food because I got the recipe and can make it myself. I farm the runes because I'm tank and get satchels. Potions... I normally macro potions to an appropriate CD and use the best ones every pull, but right now I am being more selective. I have WoD versatility potions AND Legion armor potions where I can click them, depending on the fight and how it's going.

    All of this.

    1. You're insane if you willingly spend more than 10k gold on gear that will be replaced in less than a fortnight. Use lesser chants and lesser food. Get to know the fight, use the good stuff on a kill pull. Mate bitched to me last night about spending 80-90k on pots/flasks/food/gems/chants to just be benched. Literally laughed at him, then he got a new neck today and was upset because he had to go dump more on another chant. Like really dude?

    2. Oh noes you have to spend that free gold you got from garrison? Boohoo. Or get off your ass and farm it yourself.

I don't understand why groups or players think that it's necessary to use "the very best" materials on the first 5 or 10 or 50 or 200 practice pulls. If you are using less than optimal pots/food/runes/flasks and get a boss almost to a particular phase, or almost dead, then it's time. Otherwise you were never going to get there anyway. Keep practicing the dance. The dance is so much more important than anything else that I don't know why sane people think they should pull a new boss maximally buffed.

Maybe Legion is trying to make the point that throwing gold and resources at a problem isn't helpful if the problem has nothing to do with gold and resources.

If you pay $1000 for a 2500 piece jigsaw puzzle, does that make it easier to solve than if you spent $10 on it?

About 4200g per pull which is something like 80k+ per night depending on pace. Could afford ~900 pulls but it's absurd to have to pay that much. Last expansion I could have gotten multiple stacks of flasks for what a single DPS potion costs now.
