Didn't even see your post before I commented. I'm not sure she needed that big of a buff, but her winrate shows she is easily countered. Zeratul is still a better hero.
Reveal is easy to get with almost any comp and shes weak without her opener, thats the consensus. She just preys on players who don't adapt, and that doesn't happen at low MMR's.

Actually, that's just not true - HotsLogs says her winrate is higher for higher HL divisions. Insomnia plays her pretty successfully in NA GM HL.
The thing is good Valeera adjusts to her opponents as well. In games where she can't engage from stealth, she just engages without it with SS and uses Vanish for mid-fight stuns/silences.

Haha, just checked and this is actually true!
Not sure why though, as I was under the impression that this a zero-sum system, so for someone to win more, somebody else should lose more.

Anyway, point is Valeera is not a one-trick pony, and if opponents counter her stealth-based openers with Reveal (which is what usually happens in high MMR games), she has tools to play around it.

I'm a fan of the Valeera buffs, they giving some love to her weaker talents, which is always welcome. Only weird one is HP/Regen increase but it's a pretty standard buff I guess.

Murky is just crazy though. Can't wait to troll the shit out of people with fake eggs. xD

In regard to the new patch, I don't think Valeera needs a baseline buff. They should've just buffed the underused talents, then chill and see how it plays out.

Also, I don't like the Garrote change - base damage nerf is too big. On paper, buff to Rupture should compensate for it, but it takes quite a bit of time to stack fully, so in reality I think it will be hard to get full value out of it. Expose Armor and Thistle Tea provide great value much more reliably and work with any opener.

Lots of heroes added in the past year have absolutely trashed him in terms of having a place in the meta. I guess this is meant to remedy that.
