What To Do Once You Have All Legendaries for 1 Spec?

As the title suggest I was fortunate enough to receive my 8th legendary yesterday. I play VDH and now have all the spec specific legendaries and prydaz. I swapped my loot spec over to Havoc for the short pity timer for my 2nd for the spec, if I'm understanding how that works correctly, and in hopes of getting something other than Cinidaria or Sephuz's. This however means that I can't get iron or arcane relics for my tank weapon or trinkets, but lets be honest no one cares about those this tier.

My question is, can I get Havoc, or off spec, legendaries if there is nothing left for me to get? I realize that, if I go back to Veng I'll end up getting Cinidaria and Sephuz's before any Havoc, but after that?

You can get Cinidaria or Sephuz as both DH specs, but yes, if you go off-spec and there are still legendaries for you to get there, you can get legendaries for that loot spec.

I'm not quite sure if that pity timer is spec-specific. I'm a HDH recently gone VDH (about 1.5 months now) and I am yet to receive a vengeance legendary.

Good question, my wild guess would be, no, you won't get tank legendaries without being in tank loot spec. I'm saying this based off of the fact that the entire loot system works that way, maybe it's different for legendaries, I wouldn't know.

I have thought about this, I have figured that I would want to get all the legendaries available for one spec before switching(including the cross spec ones) because if they release a new awesome legendary in a coming patch I would want it to be the only legendary I could get from that spec, therefore making it guaranteed to be my next legendary.

My suggestion is to make an alt :P Just chill around, maybe try a role you have never tried just for the sake of trying it even if it doesn't seem appealing to you at first. It's always good to gain some insight cross-roles, even if its just melee -> ranged DPS.

BLP or "Pity Timer" as you call it, is separate for each spec as of 7.2.

Ex: I just got a Balance (main spec) Legendary on Wednesday. It was a spec-specific legendary and it reset my Balance BLP. Resto, Feral, and Guardian have all their BLPs intact. HOWEVER, if I got a multi-spec/full class legendary like Sephuz or Prydaz, all BLPs would be reset. (Cinidaria resets all non-healer specs: Restoration Druid and Mistweaver Monk)

thanks for the replies, esp Plasmaxyz. That is quite sad that I have to be havoc forever* once I get the belt and ring. Blizz really should put in either a legendary loot spec option or just let you get all legendaries once you have them all for 1 spec. Oh well, guess I'll be bumming iron and arcane relics from guildies in raids now.
