Transmog Wardrobe & Quest rewards

I must not be the only one who's completed a "no-longer available" quest in Vanilla, expect the rewards to be automatically added to the Transmog wardrobe, only to learn that your character HAS to be able to equip / have proficiency in the item to be able to get it.

I half understand the limitation, but man its so frustrating especially with quests that are gone that I can't even complete on an elegible character. Instead my Monk has this sword in his bank inventory, and my DK would have used it, and he is haunted, and taunted by this fact.

Shouldn't they just allow at the very least weapons to be across the board available? Armour restriction can still apply. ;( Im salty

I figure the game snapshotted quests still available in 7.0.3, and removed quests simply don't count.

One more victim of Blizzard replacing dungeons instead of adding a seperate version, Blackrock Spire in this case...

I think the restriction on obtaining armor/weapons to the transmog library is getting more of an annoyance then logic at this point, especially since mounts/flying/pets etc are account-wide.

So basicly someone has to do loremaster 4 times to get all armor types?

I think 7.0.3 even made it so you can't pick unequippable quest reward anymore.

I know I did loremaster mostly on warlock/pala so missing a lot of mail/leather items to begin with.

I wouldn't be surprised in 7.3 or next expansion a lot of the removed items get put back in. It was in one of the Q&A's about the Sets tab that they devs didn't realize how many parts of sets were either removed or never implemented. I'm not sure if they said it or the way they said it indicated they wanted to find a way to put it back in.

I know there were some old dungeon sets from Scholo and stuff that would be nice, but removed now. I think their first priority though would be finishing off tiers sets in the set tab that only have 5 pieces vs 8. Though I'm hoping they add various sets in there too that aren't in it, ie Dungeon 0, etc.

I'm collecting appearances and found out about the original Nightbane drops. You can't do Nightbane if you haven't completed the Quest prior to MoP (have it on 1 character only).
Same for the old Dungeon sets and summonable bosses, if you don't have someone to summon them (or have the items required) you can't get the Appearances.
Kinda frustrating to miss out on Appearances (some very nice ones even on low quality) just due to the removal of content.
Blizzard is so inconsequent in what they remove and what they don't (remember when they said they regret removing the Naxx Glory Proto Drakes?), that it becomes extremely frustrating for newer players or those who can't do the content instantly to get the rewards.
The prestige of those old items is long gone, so let people get them if they want to. Your prestige was during that specific expansion to wear it before anyone else.

Consistency is what I'm missing the most, and a way to re-visit the pre-Deathwing Azeroth a lot of people loved.

Shouldn't need it on your alts anymore since they put the urn in the instance a long time ago. I have alts who can summon it that didn't exist until Cata / MoP / Draenor and never touched those quests. In fact, the original urn doesn't do anything anymore.
