I grew up on Jak and Daxter and the recent Lost Frontier disappointed me. I think a Jak 4 would be pretty nice to see. We have Ratchet and Clank games still being made, but no Jak and Daxter . I loved their games, along with Sly Cooper.

Naughty Dog became the premier AAA developer for Sony.
Even if their was one made my expectations would be cautious because Naughty Dog wouldn't be doing it.
Ratchet & Clank games might not have much of a future either if Insomniac's Spiderman is a major success(which it probably will be).
Best hope is for a small studio to pick up the IP and do it justice, like Sanzaru did with Sly 4.
Are you sure those games can still interest you since we have thousands of 3D games out now ?
That really was the magical aspect of those games back then, giant 3D worlds with a framerate higher than 13 unlike many PS1 games before it (GEX)
