Started playing hunter - need some advice

    Hi guys,

I used to play hunter back in MoP and little bit in WoD and I again picked up a hunter starting yesterday. My main is WW/BrM Monk and I wanted range dps and i like the overall gameplay of hunter.

I have full heirloom, upgraded etc... I just wanted some brief advice and tips to level faster from 1- 100. To what level should I do dungeon and quest... which spec is faster from 1-100 and 100 - 110 and at max level?

Forgive my english if I didnt make much sense as it's not my native language.

    Thanks in advance.

BM is much faster. Put your pet in tank spec and go to town soloing anything

BM is the fastest, MM is slow at "mob-to-mob" style of gameplay that most of early questing is. SV is just... weak because melee.

Also ignore poster above, you do not need tank spec on pet ever unless you are soloing some tough content(eg. current expansion raid bosses). Ferocity is the way to go all the way. If your pet dies, the ress is like 3s cast time only and you have mend pet anyways.

And you also have the Free Brez to the pet. And MD to pet for 30% less damage.

I must be doing something wrong then. I am 107 at the moment, and my Ferocity pet loses half-3/4 of his health in a single fight...

Maybe u don't heal him? I always use ferocity and it's weird, except if is a big rare mob, that they loose more than half of the life.

I just started dabbling with hunter as well. If I play BM should I be keybinding all my pet abilities or are they ok on auto for the most part?

I play a warlock and really only have to keybind one spell (an interrupt or a stun depending on pet) and leave the rest of auto. I'm guessing I can't do that with a hunter. Thanks everybody!
