Balance talents are for soloing/dailies and such, and Omen of Clarity is for a filler. The mana cost of it makes it just an easy, extra buff to be Purged off if you PvP and such.
Discuzz?

would be my spec. i like insect swarm and the daze effect from the thorns could be nice (if they don't get purged). and omen of clarity now also works with spells.
Ah, I didn't notice the Thorns effect and how they buffed Omen of Clarity. Pretty nice, I must say.Originally Posted by bigbender

So, is this soposed to be for arena too?
That is all.
I put 5/5 Nature's Grasp in there because I'm forced to PvP often, and often times I can't help myself, but that's the basic just of the build, as I can see. Otherwise, for PURE PvE, you'd probably go with Bender's spec. As for 1/2 Imp Tranq, I found it's needed, for me at least, when I get those trash pulls gone-wrong, and it's super needed to use.
Other than a couple of minor talent choices, and fillers, I tried to focus on PvE.

Daze effect has been removed from thorns, it's now only on Barkskin while activated.
Eh, your spec is screwed though if you're wanting pvp.... You can't do pvp without Control of Nature. It's more important than 5\5 NG.Originally Posted by Crazywoman
I would go with...

This is considering they actually removed the daze to thorns.
For arena I would drop imp ToL, actually.. i'd drop ToL all together.. it would work out to be:

I probably wouldn't risk going tree for pvp, plus... the armor bonus isn't like it used to be, still better to go bear form. I'm still trying to work out a few specs though, feel free to give me pointers if you'd like.
I was just thinking too.. this is more for a 2's build. I would consider actually getting Flourish for 5's.. not sure yet.
Also.I've never found imp Tranq to be in any way useful. If I have to pop Tranq, it's during RoS. I suppose if your raid healing is weak, it might be useful.Originally Posted by Crazywoman
Amazing change to the pvp spec, imo

Thanks rippo.
Oh, not usually wanting to PvP. Mainly forced to, as I got PvP junkies for friends, who like to /pvp often, and I'm their lol-healer. So I have to run often on my Druid. >.>Originally Posted by Ranor
As for 1/2 Tranq, yeah, my alt doesn't have the best of healing, because she's an alt, so I have to pop Tranq every so often, and the aggro reduction would really help for me. I know it'd be a different story for others, hence why I knew others would want to change other talents around a bit.
Though, I do think ToL looks interesting now since the movement speed reduction was removed, and the healing aura from talents, and Imp ToL would stack pretty nicely, at least I would think.
But then again, this is for lower-end PvP, BGs, world PvP, and such, not the real thing of course.
Overall, in my opinion, the basic raid-spec build would probably be:

The other talents put where others want them.

Well, even in any situation, you would want to have control of nature. 100% pushback reduction on cyclone and roots will SAVE YOUR ASS. Might want to look at that. The movement speed reduction removal is nice, but not needed and you only get 100% armor. So it's not really something I care about. You can flop points around and still get NG but you really want CoN badly. Plus, if you time your Tranqs well, the aggro reduction isn't a big deal. Of course if you pop it when the tank just got it, or if a mob just broke loose you're kinda boned, thats just being stupid.
But you can look at the specs I posted and see what i'm talking about.
Also for the raiding spec, you forgot about Nat. Perfection. The extra crit is nice for the swiftmends\NS, and the damage reduction is nice as well if it happens to proc if a mob gets loose.
true resto spec

and pvp spec
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0tIMzbIchdZZfxIu0uxMzN
nothing more to say,
Good points, I forgot about the crit Nature Perfection gave, as I'm tired and not remembering a whole lot now, and I should have put 3/3 in there.
As for Control of Nature, I'm currently PvE specced right now and I go for Feral Charge since it saves my ass so often for PvE situations.(The interrupt is amazing, which is better off than pissing the dps off and making them Immune with a Cyclone)
I was going to go, now, with Control of Nature as you said, in WotLK that is, because Feral Charge is being moved down a lot farther. So I'd probably take your first spec posted.

I instance.
A lot.

answer me a question, because i am relatively new to druids, especially to heal.
why not go to something like http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZZfVIuiugiuAsst , but put the incredible amount of 28+ points into balance, "just" for 10% of int as mp5 and 9% -manacost for regrowth, HT and rejuv...
well... assuming ~900-1000 int at lvl80 would be 90-100 mp5 AND additionally 9% less manacosts for 3 spells is quite nice, but getting this at the cost of those 28 points you left then in restoration, including tree form and mainly flourish...
is it really worth this? maybe for the first few raids I can imagine this... but not really for the high-end-raids... or do I overrate the restoration talents?
