All I have to say... is it's your fault for stopping right at the Crit cap. I am perfectly set in my crappy Kara epics, still crit immune, beyond uncrushable(not even needed) and more then enough spell dmg. I love the new tree and so far i have 0 problems with the tree. Then again i didnt stack Stam thinking it was a good idea or soemthing so I am at 12k hp and still I can/was always able to do anything up to ZA.

Was gonna say, I dont even have full kara epics on my tanking set, and I was around 515 when I stopped my account, would be interesting to see what its back at now

The real problem is that we dont have 5% to block from talents like warriors and we also have about 1-2k less ehalth with equal gear and having to add back soem def which was already deficient on alot of our gear for protadins now we have to gem more def and be even lower on health... Before you call it whining pay some attention to the fact blizzard said balance and gave prot warriors 5% more block and didnt touch the heaolth deficit then gave them even more ap based on armor... GG

Last time I checked, you can have defense gems cut. Might want to check that out. You'll find out the stamina you lose isn't going to be massive. If your in a position where that much stamina mattered, chances are your gear would be nice enough that this wouldn't be a problem for you. My alt warrior is in badge/kara gear and I still have 492 defense after the patch. I used enduring talasites to get back over the cap, 5 in total.

You holy shield and shield block got also improved, or you forgot it, go read first notes on the patch and see that wasnt changed, you dont have 5% block and a shield block the way warriors do because you have a 8 charge per 10 second increasing shield block chance for alot, you may say it isnt 100% sure it is 100% block, but never the less you rise for quite heavy numbers you block chance, making mitigation chance really really high.

And yes, its leaving a bit on the edge, i have seen paladins prot die with they holy shield active and getting beating above the charges, a paladin reaching 102.4% isnt easy even with holy shield up.

But now things are a bit diferente, you block alot more dmg and chances of block maintain, so it isnt a reason to fight against diferente things, paladins may not have the same passive mitigation that warriors have , but have great manouvers to be able to be above that mitigation, and once again i state Paladins and Warriors may use both plate but they are diferente in so many ways, starting for the playstyle and ending on gear to better improve the class/role.

Some comparisions just cannot be made, you cant compare cheese with bacon ;P , they are diferente things, but when together they taste gooooood, like warrior + paladin pvp/pve teams (and no the paladin dont need to be full holy).

102.4 isn't easy with holy shield up? You gotta be kidding, last time I checked I was at a about 115 without holy shield libram...

Guess I just outgear the green/blue paladin you refer too.

I'm still sitting at 521 def. I've got nothing to complain about. In fact, tanking Sunwell after the patch was easy mode. We got it good with all the changes, stop complaining.

First you cry " my defense is gone im not uncrittable anymore buaaaaaa, gief shield block, gief disarm, gief charge, gief all warror have plus 20!".

Then seconds later you say "Im Uber have gazzillions of defense and when a boss see me im double skull to him e can beat everyone single handed no boss is a match for me!"

Please, im believing that you will never get happy with your class/specc if you rolling a paladin as main, if you above stuff you cry things are to easy, if you below the fights you cry that you cant do it so please buff or nerf content/itens.

What the hell you want then???? Do you have to fill a 'whinning for ever' document in order to be able to roll a paladin nowadays???
