    Shadow Priests Stats

    Hello mates

I'm kind'a disapointed by the performance of mya SW Priest. Its poor at PVE and useless at PVP.
Anyone share this feeling after the big patch?

Please, i need some advices. Continuing this way i will stop playing the priest at all.

    Best Wow regards

I don't know about you but I've been topping the dps charts since the last patch as shadow priest. As well as keeping the rest of the party's mana topped, however, PvP is broken for shadow priests right now they die way too easily especially against ret pallys and mut rogues.

Agree with you on PVE portion of this. I've been tearing up the charts on single target DPS encounters, leading DPS while often coming in second in healing. Any AOE encounters lower my ranking, but I expect that to be rectified when we get mind sear. Trash groups are a different story however, dots ineffective as things die before they tick more than a few times. Ive seen some raid dps charts posted from PTR with s-priest leading dps by a healthy margin on many encounters.

PVP wise I'm pretty well geared and I feel buffed a little in PVP since patch. I can be very effective once the weaving is stacked, but I do feel we could use a little bit more. A knockback or root ability would make all the difference IMO.

    LoL

PvE Shadowpriests got their biggest boost, they are a small bit from OP.

If I had my way I would raid as a shadowpriest and have a decent shot at top DPS. Thank you blizzard.

There is more to wow than topping dps charts imo... I play a spriest because I enjoy the class, the range of spells, the ability to heal & dps and our mana efficiency. All of that is > topping dps charts... as long as our dps is decent enough to not be discriminated against I'm happy.

On Brutallus last night I managed just above 1900 DPS. Just short of first place, I came second, which was at 1944 DPS. It was the first time we ever seen Brutallus. I would say the mage is slightly more geared than I. He has more Tier 6. I mainly have 'mutt' gear onpar with Tier 6 items... and T6 gloves (Oh joy).

It's the first time in all of my raiding that I actually competed on the meters in the higher scale encounters (Hyjal+). So I would have no problem saying that we have gotten our love... Althou, dispersion still sucks. Maybe I will need it at 80? Cause the only time I used it last night was to try and mitigate some meteror damage... and that was probably when I dropped out of first on DPS... haha.
