Feral dps numbers (wws plz)

Im currently ina pretty progressed guild with id say good dps gear. I havent really gotten to use a dps spec in raids yet but in my tank spec on patchwerk and tank and spank boss's im doin about 3700-3900. Just wondering what i would be able to do with a dps spec wrather then my tank spec

thats not too bad, i have comparable gear to the best feral on my server and hes doing about 4700 on patchwerk, so this week i think im goin to go full dps spec and see what i can do

Mind posting your specc/gear (amory) would be very much appriciated, ive just been replaced by our palatank as MT for 25man, due to the fact that he is the raidleader ^^, and im having trouble respeccing, to an OT specc.

i do abot 2.3 in my dps gear hile tank specced and about 3.3K in dps spec

i feel nerf incomming we arent seposed to dps as hard as a rogue :P

well i don't think nerf is incoming, because 4700 dps isn't that high to bting the: TO THE GROUND BABY
shamans can pull out nearly the same. Mages and Rogues can pull 5k+ dps. Warr more + they get buffed with Patch. Hunters are able to pull out 6k dps, but they get the : TO THE GROUND. averything around 4-5k dps isn't imbalanced.

An increase of 1k DPS while going from a tank spec to a dps spec doesn't warrant a nerf of any sort...that is the intention of the new feral tree, and 2 WWS reports is hardly a solid sample size. Considering at this point in the game, gear and skill have FAR more to do with how you perform in your raid than any sort of class imbalance, the fact that a handful of ferals far outshine the rest of their guild will not go very far towards warranting a nerf of any sort.

Hell...I'm in largely t5 quality gear and I out-dps the DK wearing heroic blues in my raid...but there is no questions amongst the officers why that DK fails so hard...

This topic has been interesting for me as well since I will be swapping to a DPS spec until I have the time to grind out new gear for my tanking spec. Thanks for the inputs guys

It's almost a month old, and I've since joined a different guild where I've been primarily tanking, so I don't have a current one. I was in 4pT6 and a good variety of Heroic/10-man gear with a couple of 25-man pieces when this was done.

With the gear upgrades I've gotten recently, I'm sitting at best in slot with almost every piece. I'm certain I could break 5k dps in 10-man Patchwerk and probably even higher on 25-man.

Keep in mind that your DPS numbers are also going to be substantially higher if the rest of your guild is also high. The shorter fight length makes bloodlust worth a LOT more for your DPS. If everyone in the above parse had been doing over 4k dps, my own numbers would probably have been more around 4.6-4.8k.
