Re:maxing dps with 2h and unholy

ok so i have 3k AP unbuffed and in pretty much all epics (1 blue cape)
1.6k dmg and about 1.7 or 1.8 buffed( self buffed)
i need a good roatation for this build.

By now people shouldnt really need help with rotations, they are really simple. Especially if you are in almost all epics.

SS spam untill you need to refresh diseases (SS glyph is uber) and BS when you need death runes. Death Coil whenever and use Gargoyle when you have a long stretch to dps

I normally don't get into this, but I have to say that 1.6k is really low for your level of gear. My gear level is relatively significantly lower than yours, and I'm averaging around 3k overall in a run on Naxx 10, and managing right around 4K on Patch as a benchmark. Most of the info you need is in the first post, though there's interesting reading througout about how they've arrived at the info listed in the first post.

Your spec is actually pretty close to the current cookie cutter. I'd drop the 5pts out of Desecration, and put two points in Unholy Aura (invaluable for raid dps, and your guildies will love you for it), 2 points in NotD (there will almost never be a time in which your Ghoul won't be available if you have this, and it's a significant contributor to your personal dps), and stick that last point in Virulence, since there isn't anywhere better to put it anyways.

Desecration is just a really lackluster talent at the raiding level. Its graphics really mess up being able to see stuff on the ground for the rest of the raid, and you're almost never able to stay in it with the movement required for bosses these days. In addition, you should have Glyph of Scourge Strike if you don't already, and using it means in general you aren't Plague Striking very much.

For one you should replace that crappy meta and maybe attempt to get a shoulder, chest and bracer enchant. Other than that all I can say is l2p, like it was stated before props for coming here to get help but tbh my fresh 80 DK with some savage gear and the rest quest rewards outdps's you and that is pretty sad. My DK is UH too btw.

You could be right, that's just kind of a wierd way to reference his damage for a DK in my opinion. I don't think I've given what it says on my paperdoll there much thought the entire time I've been playing the DK. :P

No. Str > AP.

1 Str = 2 AP, and Str benefits from Blessing of Kings. So 1 Str = 2.2 AP. Go STR.

If he was saying that he already knew that then he's probably using the AP gems for financial reasons or something.

Not only that, Str gems benefit from the multiple talents Death Knights have that increase strength, such as Ravenous Hunger, Shadow of Death and Veteran of the Third War. They also have the minor "side effect" of increasing your parry rating, which comes in handy against mobs that whirlwind or trample.

If there is a DK that says AP > Str he should definately stop playing this game and contributing to the "deathtards" out there. Stop looking at your paperdoll ffs, test your dps in raid situations or on test dummies to get a feel for what you're doing then come here and ask questions. A DK that paperdolls 3k weapon dmg doesn't mean that they know how to play or anything, you're obviously a noob if all you're worried about is your paperdoll... Besides the fact that I don't believe you do "3k easy" like you said with your retarded questions here, post questions that you actually need help with because now everyone really knows you're a noob.
