The Ashbringer... Think they could bring it back?

I know that Tirion has the Ashbringer right now and he's the weilder of it and so on. And while I think the only way this VERY unlikely boss of icecrown could happen was from a long phassing quest chain; I'd like to see the Ashbringer as a Weapon brought back. I'd like to see some quest dealing with the Scarlet Crusade/Onslaught because of it. Even if the only way to get it would be going back in time for some reason (say Caverns of Time issues?) or something.


I'm sorry I'm so vauge on this, I haven't had a chance to provide good examples, I just find it lame that such a Weapon is gone, one that had quest and ushc on it, and had so much story to it. Weapons lilke that seem to be gone these days, the new Legendary weapon might kind of bring it back it doesn't seem like it will be as fun or as cool using it. It doens't even seem to be special like Ashbringer was. If oyu ahd Ahshbringer, anyone who saw you KNEW you had Ashbringe. If someoen sees thise mace, because it has no glow or anything that really makes it show up, I don't think everyone would know you have it.

Frostmourne might be aweomse looking, I just highly doubt it'll have a ton of quest behind it...

And we won't have any voices, because when the two souls fused to make the Lich King, Frostmourne became just a tool again...

Ashrbinger was a warrior sword. Hightlord Mograine ran about with it in full Tier 3 dreadnaught "As a demon from the twisting nether he would ride into battle in full dreadnaught wielding ashbringer high above his head...Leaving nothing but the wake of ash and fire behind him" taken directly from the game (though probably quoted wrong). Although Ashbringer is currently being wielded by a paladin I would expect warrior/paladin only.

Frostmourn would make sense for a death knight however it was first wielded by arthas when he was a paladin so I dunno I think it'll be Deathknight only.

as you can see i the dk starting event .. the true power of the ashbringer can only be used by a pure entitiy of light.. like a paladin
a nice idea is a different "on equip" bonus for paly oder warrior to make it accessable for both classes...

the thing with frostmourne is a bit more complicated because we don´t know whats on with it till it drops .

maybe freaky variann or garrosh grab it und tirion melts their faces or it simply explodes , and releases all the souls it devoured in history

Scarlet Crusade is no more . During the Death Knight escape quest , it is told that whole Scarlet army from Silverpine and Trisfall Glades , was wiped trying to rescue Heavenshire and New Avalon . So the last part of Crusade is Onslaught , which is also crushed by forces of Ebon Hold with help from players

naa it would be rly nice if they could bring back weapons like that. The new Mace is some what going there, not going to see rnd running around with that. Lets wait and see, i feel that its going in the right direction

I believe that once icecrown comes into play there will be a arduous quest line to cleanse the ashbringer, for those who were lucky enough to win it in old lvl 60 Naxx. But it was removed from Naxx to make it more unique, so i have NO clue why people are on here asking for it to be unique....i only know of maybe 15 on my server, thats pretty freeeeakin unique.
