Best warlock pvp spec?

Hey guys..

I am currently starting to do a bit of PVP on my warlock, I have never done pvp with him before.. So im just wondering what the best pvp spec is atm? and if you could give me an example of a good pvp spec..

Most viable spec for arena is still afflicton 54/17/0. But if you're only going to do some fun bgs etc, go for destro. It's more fun, 0/20/51 is typical destro pvp spec.

i use a 29/11/31 i dunno it is good or not but it is funny for me
it got NF,BL,NP,SL,CoEX,4/5 SM.............have something to kite melees,and crazy vs casters,also have the self-heal to outlast healer

overall funny spec

i don't think so. you need master summoner for those .5 second cast summons. other wise your screwed imo if your pet dies. Also don't really need replenishment as a warlock.

...that doesn't work. Too few damage to Burst the enemy down. Too few healing to outlast enemy. Great idea in theory. I already tried it out. In Practice it sucks.

I am currently destro for arena doing very well. We are pld, lock, and Dk combo. Now that i have 700 res...was thinking about going back to affliction because i do it for pve anyways. this is my spec:

Here's the thing:

Affliction is all-around good, and is equally good against all opponents. It doesn't have a strong or weak point, and is well paired with a healer. Fights can last a very long time because you're hard to kill, but at the same time it can be over quite quickly if you don't know how to get your UA's off or kite. One "Get out of jail free" card - IHoT.

Demonology is strong versus melee, but hey guess what - there's only one pure melee class in the game, Warrior, and noone is complaining about warriors these days. Rogues can stunlock you in any spec, so no advantage there, Death Knights and Paladins deal mostly magical damage and therefore Meta does nothing for you, and the rest of the classes are casters. I bet this is a good tree for 5v5, but 2v2 not so much.

Destruction's recent revamp makes it a viable douple-dps contender. Seduce nukes, conflag daze, glyph of shadowflame - all very good. But it's still a one trick pony. If you aren't winning in the first 30 seconds, you're either extremely skilled (unlikely if you're looking for help) or you're going to die. OP versus mages and related casters, and you can expect to outlast melee for 30 seconds by using all your tricks. After that, good luck and god speed.

Just starting out? Try demonology. Get used to the fact that you only have two instant casts, and managing your pet, and extra survival. No one learns anything if they die in 4 seconds. You have to live to learn.
