I've ran the heroic 5 man Trial of the Champion every day since the patch's release with the hope of two Aledar's Battlestars dropping so I could dual wield them on my enhancement shaman.

Yesterday Spectral Kris dropped (I had already won this dagger in a previous lock) and I didn't have the option to roll on it. So I was wondering if the same thing would happen if another Aledar's Battlestar were to drop.

I already have one Battlestar, would I be able to obtain another?

The difference between the two is the kris is unique:

If an item is unique and you already have one, you will not even have the opportunity to roll on it a second time. The hammer you are after is not unique, so fear not:

The dagger is "unique", meaning that you can only acquire 1 of the item, but the maces are not, so you can get two of them yes.

To actually be useful, yes, you can. The reason behind the Spectral Kris is that pesky little tag "Unique". Not really sure how you got to 80 without knowing what Unique meant, but everybody has to learn at some point and there is no point being a jerk about it.

Since the Spectral Kris is Unique, not Unique-Equipped, you can only own one, so if you have it on a character, you can't get it again unless that character destroys it. The Battlestar is not unique so you can get as many of those as you want.
