Help me fellow shamans

Hello everybody,

I have a little question, here it is :
I calculated that if I change my 4/5 T8.5 and 1 T9 232 ilvl to 5/5 T9 245 ilvl I will gain:

+103 sp
+100 haste
-23 crit
+55 hit

And I will gain 20% LVB damage. Now my LVB hits +- 12k with 4 sckt bonus It will be like +- 14k.

But there's my problem :

If I break T8.5 4 socket bonus I will loose DoT which has 100% uptime and hits for about 1.1k and of course 2 socket bonus for FS crits but it is not so hot.

So in my point of view I will gain about 2k LVB dmg and 100 sp and 100 haste. I can cast LVB every 8 seconds. But the DOT I will lose is there 100% of time. So I don't know now. 100 sp and 100 haste is definitely a big boost but 1.1k dmg all the time is better in my opinion. In ToC, ToGC I do better damage than 4/5 T9 shamans so I don't know.

Please don't blame me. I only need an opinion which will help me, so take your flames and blow it out your ass.

According to EJ's TTT:
T8 2pc - ~125 dps
T8 4pc - ~155 dps
(Total: 280)

T9 2pc - ~60 dps
T9 4pc - ~210 dps
(Total: 270)

So the exchanging of set bonuses is about the same. If you're completely upgrading stat wise, I would take the T9.
I don't know what you mean by "1.1k damage all the time," but I'm not sure that that's completely accurate. Yes, the T8 4pc is relatively nice but the stat upgrades you get plus the T9 4pc I think outweighs it.
And I don't know that the LvB scales like that necessarily. It's 20% increase to damage, but I think it's base damage before coefficients. Or something, I don't know. But I'm pretty sure its not just (LvB dmg * 1.2).

Reading the tooltip I'd say its 1.2 times LvB after all of the spellpower stuff has been applied

If you dont need more hit, you can choose the Resto Chest, witch gives crit instead hit.
