Even with 5%, assuming a 2.3 or so attack speed (not account for rapid fires, bloodlust, and improved aspect of the hawk, if you're specced for it), thats it proccing theoretically once every 46 seconds, which would be really nice if theres no internal cooldown (do set bonuses usually do? not sure on that one myself)

Over a 5 minute fight, assuming the thing procs exactly 5% and has no ICD, it's roughly a 4% AP increase.

Yeah....I'm liking the old one better. IMO, one of the set bonuses being a "when you do x there is y% for z to be increased" isn't a problem. But when both of them are like that, and at 5%, it seems very lackluster when compared to say, the warlock 4set.

I'm not even sure why they changed the 4-piece. It was perfect. It was (assuming it worked on Auto) balanced across all specs, and nicely designed.

If it's proc'ing around once every 46 seconds, I would hope there is no internal cooldown, simply because there's also a chance it won't proc at all during a fight (a small chance, but still a chance with 5%)

This Tier 10 4 piece bonus seems very bland now compared to some of the other sets, wouldn't shock me if 2 piece Tier 9 and 2 piece Tier 10 becomes the standard. (Unless the stats are so vastly superior from ilvl258 Tier 9 to top of the line Tier 10)

The set bonus is awsome.

To my understand, basically u must make sure it procs even before you enter a raid to benefit the 15% additional Dmg to you and your pet, plus it didn't have a duration + the bonus set said "Until calcelled" which means if u click that buff away (which is roughly the same tooltip as TSA talent).

What is not so good about that or did i misunderstand what it has to offer??

overall i think the 2 set bonus is great, but the 4set, camon.

Just a rough simple calculation (calculation is base on 100 ticks of 5%).

Serpent with glyph ticks for 21 sec which is ard 7 ticks.

you basically need ard 14 shots of full tick's stings (after a proc) to benefit 20% ap buff for 10sec again. Thats more like 3 minute internal CD. A trinket procs way better than that.

What about GCD? + all of that? basically its only worth like no shots of a totally useful buffs and then you are back to normal again. I feel that they should make the duration much longer. 10 sec is a joke.

The "Until Cancelled" part is just a placeholder until they find a balanced duration for the buff... giving us a permanent buff of 15% increased dmg from hunter and pet is hoping for a bit much from a 2 set bonus..

5% chances are way too low to be even remotely interesting. There'll be fights where it will proc two times in a row and then there'll be several fights where it won't proc at all. It's just too random to bother! :/
