    Expertise vs Hit

    Hello Fellow DKs,

With icecrown right around the corner, i am hoping to start improving my expertise and hit as a MT/OT position. The problem is, i really haven't found a good way to get both Hit capped and Dodge capped. It's fairly easy to do one or the other. Which should i be going for? Its looking like a lot of the tanking gear has hit on it, so hit may be my best possibility.

    Thank you

    Re: Expertise vs Hit

I found the opposite. I have tons of expertise, but fairly low hit (4.64% as dw frost, 7.5% as 2h blood) - yet, can still hit the melee special cap with hit food.

If you do have to choose, get the dodge cap. It's more important. Lack of hit only hurts your threat (and a bit your self heals if you're blood, but not significantly), while lack of expertise also hurts your survivability.

expertise is a better stat always. hit is threat and threat only. expertise is threat and a survival stat.
