No. DKs are awful in PVP in almost every comp.

Oh wait thats still the same tree.

QQ more, rogues claim to be the most nerfed class in the history of the world, dating back to the biblical days yet they're always giving fair warning when they're nerfed at least.
The legitimacy of the QQ from DKs atm lies not in how bad they nerfed SS, how they nerfed SS, or anything to do with the mechanics of anything nerfed for that matter. It's how they hotfixed a nerf which completely flipped the spec on its ear, changing the way they gear, gem, and their rotation which, just 2 days before had been flipped on it's other ear when the SS (buff) change went live, albeit with advanced warning.

TL;DR: The day blizzard announces a hotfix that states "Rogues may now only wield poop on the end of a stick, they may not attack with aforementioned sticks but instead just flail their arms carelessly in hopes to keep attackers at bay." without warning, then and only then may rogues QQ about not having a third viable PVE tree anymore.

But then you have to take a step back and ask what is better for the player. Does a player get more out of the wonder and grandeur of stepping into a dungeon -- and some of the dungeons are quite epic even from the outside? Or does a player get more out of being able to fight through a dungeon over their lunch hour or after dinner?
Wow, an employee of Blizzard realizing the basics of usability? I bow my head in wonder. I hope they will ask themselves that question more often in the future: "What is better for the player". Or perhaps even "How can we make this a better experience for the player". Cool.

considering an extremely small percentage of players will actually get shadowmourne, that reasoning falls way too short, im sure they'll hotfix in a ring for plate dps, there would be too much rage not too. Epic sig btw.

Side note 2: We have a design law around the office, named for one of the designers here, that anything overpowered is fun. There was a time when Scourge Strike hit for silly numbers. Many DKs knew it did too much damage. Others were nostalgic for that day, perhaps even subconsciously. I've read several times before something else that makes a lot of sense: too many DKs want a class that hits as often as a rogue but hits as hard as a warrior. You can see the problem there. As long as DKs do so much spell and disease damage, their strikes can't hit for really big numbers. (If you don't care about spells and disease damage, then you're probably playing the wrong class.)
Warriors hit as hard as a track and they have "diseases" aswell, just think about a Deep Wound or Rend bleed effect wich ignores armor aswell, cannot be resisted and toghether they tick like 2-2.5k ^^

Yeah because they didn't remove the stupid vanilla pvp system, make leveling faster from 1-60, give us mounts at 20, reduce reputation grind all the time when they become obsolete, reduced in half leveling from 60-70, give us heirloom items and items with exp% modifiers, greatly reduced the amount of trash from vanilla, halved the hearthstone cooldown, constantly reduce the cooldowns from all "quality of life" skills, made raids 10/25 to be more accessible than 40 players, added teleport devices in Ulduar, and are totally not called by players for constantly "dumbing down" content to make it more accessible.

When they make things easier we have an army on the wow-forums complaining how they keep "ruining the game", and we also have casual juergens in mmo-champion in wonder like it's the first time they do that. We get both sides of the coin, and both sides are retarded. Fantastic.

I was talking about usability or ease of use, not the "dumbing down" of the game play itself. Letting players teleport in and out of the instances via the new dungeon finder makes using/operating the game easier, not playing it. The instances are as difficult or as easy as they were before that change. The game did not get one bit easier by that, but it got a hell of a lot easier to handle. And that is what I found unusual.

Re: Ashen Verdict Rings, Dec. 10 Hotfixes, Blue posts

I think Blizzard made a mistake with the Rep rings.
We must make a difference of how they are satisfying all the player niches they had.

Shadowmourne---> Hardcore endgame players (Prob HC Guild, Lot of time to play)
Rep Rings----> Everyone! Casual and HC Gamer.

They are penalizing 99% of plate dps by omiting that ring.

    Thanks..

PD: When Vala´nyr was also gained by healing clases. They also had their Badges ring btw. So really.. why? Shadowmourne is not a reason. And if You really want the axe. Roll a possible wearer and start getting it. You have plenty of time.. 2.5 months min
