Blood, for levelling. Least amount of downtime and, properly specced and geared, able to basically do all non-dungeon quests solo.

Or go Frost and Tank everythng dungeon wise and beat the quest down. Im sure you have friends thatare willing to help you do the Quest.

I played a Blood DK Tank. Blood can tank just fine. In fact, Frost is mostly a dead spec. For both DPS as well as for tanking. The thing about Frost - fragile and annoying rotation. Blood is very straightforward. Really hard to mess up.

I haevent tried the blood specc on my dk yet, but i find frost rather interesting.

And i have been leveling my DK in dungeons since lvl70something.

just do the daily dungeon each day, and you get ~25% level per day with it.

Allso, i allready have enough emblems to buy the t9 shoulders and hands. and im only @lvl78

Blood ofc, then u will almost never die. 2% more health gain from attacks in blood presence, rune tap and it does the most dps in low levels.

Impressing, I did daily northrend dungeon every day (including today) once it was available and have 12 emblems @77 - that's not even a single piece I feel cheated!
On topic. Frost is very interesting and sometimes fun but generally ...lame. I probably try blood (again) and see if I get enough motivation to level past 68.
Or you go against the mainstream and level unholy...I don't know what you do with that before 80 (except pvp what I've read)

the most time consuming thing in leveling is not regen downtime.
10 years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope and Johnny Cash. Now we have no Jobs, no Hope and no Cash.

this. Levelling a DK in any spec produces next-to-no downtime. What does take time is moving from one quest location to the next, and turning in your quests. Unholy speeds this all up a lot.

Elites and group quests are easily-done as blood or unholy. I've never levelled as frost so can't speak to that.

    Re: best leveling spec?

Unholy for movement speed. It speeds up what you'll spend 75%+ of your time doing... running around.
Frost for fastest kill speed. Speeds up what you'll be spending the majority of your non-travel time doing.
Blood for best self healing. Speeds up virtually nothing since you should have no downtime with any DK spec.

Blood's great for someone who has no idea what to do with a DK though, so if you're not very good, it's a very good option. Otherwise go Unholy.
