    What to make....

    Hello soon to be fellow hunters,

    With new content and gear arriving at very rapid rates now in the the World, ive decided to level my 1st hunter, and i need some opinions;

    Tell me
    ;
    • What spec you leveled
    • Is it as fun as they say?
    • What race did you choose? why?
    • And, how long did it take you?

    Ive got all my BOA's , now its deciding a race (prefer Ally, so i can send gold)
    Any tips and tricks would be much appreciated

    ~Thanks.

    "Which class should I roll?" is a frequently reoccurring thread.

    There is no real discussion to be had about which class any individual should play. This is a very personal decision and all anyone can really do is post their personal favourites over and over again.

    If you wish to find out more information about specific classes, feel free to browse our Class Forums. You can also try to use the forum's search function if you have a specific question about a class.

    Re: What to make....

    I'd say Dwarf or Nightelf.

    I'd choose Dwarf mostly for the Gun specialization but im not ally so...
    It is as fun as they say it is. I have yet to meet a person who plays hunter who hates it.

    BM is really easy for questing. Soloing 6-10 guys is a sinch. In instances you will be just fine. Having a powerful beast is great.

    MM is ok. It's viable to quest with but Bm is probably better though if you plan on souly doing instances then it really wouldn't be awful or even better than BM.

    Surv isn't really that good to level until you get explosive shot so unless you feel like reglyphing and respeccing for a spec that is great for kiting but really only as good as MM then be my guest.

    Took me about, minus the amount of raiding time I spent at lv70, about 8 days playing time from 1-80 without heirlooms.

    EDIT:Not including Worgen because I don't know the full details on them besides the alpha but that can't exactly count.
    If curiosity killed the cat, why can't speculation kill you?

    Re: What to make....

    I went orc, since orcs have an attack power buff on a 2m cooldown, and pets deal 5% more damage for orc pet classes.

    Re: What to make....

    pretty much just choose whatever toon you like the most, NE have an agility edge, dwarves have the gun crit, and raids will love you for the hit buff as a draenai (which comes in handy levelling cos you'll be hitting mobs 4 and 5 lvls above you)
    If you already have the bow, itd be silly to go dwarf, but who knows, maybe the cataclysm uber weapon will be a gun?

    Re: What to make....

    I went Night Elf Hunter, Played As BM until Nerfing ages about but without a doubt its still the best to level up as and properly the most fun especially when using some of your cooldowns
