UI Nerds, i need help.

Okay so here it goes. I was browsing around the forum as i used to do wednesday morning before the servers are back up.

I am self a UI perfectionist and was looking around when i saw this thread:

Now this is all in all a nice UI IMO. But i only want 1 part of it, i want the Black spray/splatter thing he got sorrounding his action bar. Anyone know what the addon is called? And even if it is possible for me to only implement that little part into my UI, or do i need the whole package? All help is appreciated!

Think it's SharedMedia - Which you need to take from the UI Package.

Think he uses kgPanels to integrate the art into his UI.
Or it might just be borders?

It has to be custom Texture in Kgpanels addon , donwload the UI and check in the /kgpanels config and see .
You might be able to get the textures working on your UI if you get the .tga files from that Kgpanels folder

The panels are done with KGPanels. The art is self made and put into the game using KGPanels.

So i am to DL the UI and go in to the folder and i am supposed to find exactly what? O.o

i wanna say that i don't use KGpanels, is it even possible then? i only want the "splatter" on my action bar.

You need to find the .tga files
I don't know any other Panel addon only Kgpanel since i use that but definitely you need to use a Panel addon and has to support custom Textures and .tga files

You're looking for the .tga files in the kgPanels directory. You could also just copy kgPanels to your addons folder.

Well, there is other addons that could do the same thing, but kgPanels is the most used one.

Would you like to specify? All i am basicly looking for is an addon to give my actionbar (and maybe my chat window?) a little more "pep" And the only one i've seen do that is the one from the UI-Pack mentioned above.

KGpanel is an Addon that Adds Textures (pictures) to your UI so you can place them, size them and so one to fit parts of your UI.

Like in your case Around your Unit Frames.

So what you have to do is

1) Install Kgpanels
2) look in the KGpanel texture folder from the UI you linked, in there you will have some Picture/texture name.TGA files
browse true thees until you find the picture you want around your unit frames
3) put thees in your KGpanel texture Folder.
4) open kgpanels in WoW (/kgpanel config)
follow the instructions in there to how activate your texture/picture's and you are good to go

Thx for the guideline, rly hlpfull.

But when i try to put in the command /kgpanel config it simply dosen't come up with anything. It is as if i don't even have the addon installed. It should be mentioned that my "char addon screen" has the addon checked as activated.
