Greetings World of Warcraft community, this not just another reroll guild. I am a well organized and dedicated individual. I am calling out to any players that need a new home for Cataclysm. Whether it because you quit and want to play again, because your guild plans to stop being active, or the simple fact that you just need a new home, you have come to the right place. Some might say it might be to early to start recruiting. However I think getting started early will be more beneficial in the long run, especially to avoid the mad rush when more Cataclysm information is released.

Playstyle: Hardcore PvE 25Man raiding.

About the Guild

Requiem of Despair is a Cataclysm Re-roll guild, we will start on a fresh slate on a new server with the release of the expansion. Our goal is to create a closely knit group of raiders/friends. We will aim for server firsts, and also aim to be a contending US raiding guild. The mentality of logging on to just raid will not be tolerated. I have seen many hardcore raiding guilds fall apart because of drama among members. We will differ from other raiding guilds by having a friendly atmosphere, there is no reason to spend hours each night raiding if you can't stand the other members. Raiding will not be about loot, the goal is to maintain a hardcore status, but still have fun in the process. The guild will be a home for all it's members, outside of raiding I except us to be active, doing other things in game, on vent, playing other games, etc.

That being said, members must still be able to tolerate friendly criticism. If there are any problems with members whether it be while raiding or just in general, it will be solved/fixed. We must do more than just tolerate one another, we will grow close and provide helpful critiques of one another. People without patience, understanding, humor, or maturity will not be allowed to stay as a member. Granted my definition of hardcore is different from the majority of WoW players, I believe the foundations of this guild will help it last for a long time to come. Thus all members must be dedicated and committed.

Raid hours and Loot System

SUBJECT TO CHANGE

EST Mondays → Thursday We will start out with 4 nights a week, depending on how easy or difficult content is we will be raiding a minimum of 4days a week. Once content is on farm status we will be raiding less, but during progression we will raid up to 5 nights a week just to clarify.

7:30PM -Midnight is our set raiding time as of right now.

Sunday would be the 5th day.

Modified Loot Council

A thread will be posted each raid lock/week, raid core members will post the item they are using as well the item they want to upgrade to prior to the raid week(and of prior raid week). The thread will show all three raid instances and specific pieces of loot which members will post under if they need the item. Three raid core members will be chosen/alternated each raid lock and will PM me whom they see fit to receive items off each boss as well as a back-up person(they will be sending a list of items with names). I will then compile the list and decide with the officer core as to who will get the item prior to the raid. This will eliminate long looting periods after downing a boss. There will still be raid attendance percentages(30days 60days, lifetime) as well as an item count(how many items you have looted) which will factor in to our decision.

90% minimum attendance required.
