    hunter question

    I have a general question about hunters in cataclysm based off a rumor I have heard and everyone here is usually pretty knowledgable.

    Can hunters use dual wield ranged weapons in Cataclysm, I was going to post this one the wow forums but it turns out your account needs to be active to post there, go figure right.

    Thank you in advance for any replies shot this way.

    No, dual wield pistols, likely what you are thinking, is something that had been in original wow alpha as a possibility, but technically/gameplay wise never got implemented and for those same reasons likely never will, then again part of it was the ammo issue so it might be discussable now for the Blizzard Devs.

    While dual wield would kind of be cool, I would forsee reloading dual wielded crossbows as a problem.

    How would dual wielding bows work...?

    And the last semi-valid discussion about dual-wielding weapons was when Frostheim on wow.com was talking about how he would use pistols as a means of eliminating melee skills for hunters and using pistols as "melee" weapons.
    It's an interesting article.
