Doubts on heirloom for my leveling-warrior...ca you help me?

Hi guys. First of all, sorry for my english , it's not my mother language and so, it's not so good.
However, here is my doubt. I wanna leveling a warrior, and at same time, i wanna leveling a shaman and a hunter (ya. 3 alt simultaneously ). I'm farming emblem to buy heirloom, and, to save them, i'm planning to buy this:

Shoulder: Champion Herod's Shoulder (sorry i can't post links)
    Chest: Champion's Deathdealer Breastplate (idem)
Weapons (all heirloom): Two hand Axe (for warrior till 80 and shaman encha till 40); Bow (for Hunter); Two Dagger or Two Mace (for Shaman after 40)

The question is: heirloom posted are MAIL (Agi-Sta-Int-AP), and obviously are not ideal for warrior, but, is it so remarkable the difference beetween these two pieces and Plate ones? I can save lots of emblem if i can use mail on my warrior...
And, with this set, Arms is the ideal spec for leveling (questing)?

Thanks a lot for your help, i appreciate

yes the difference is notable for the warrior, that plate heirloom shoulder's stats is a major advantage to your warrior. the strength and stamina combo will definately work better in the long run than the agility of the mail.

Im not sure what your question is, but i recomend just getting the BoA plate shoulders and find someone to power level you, 10% bonus rules!

Remember stone keepers shards 200 for shoulders 275 for a gun 175(?) for daggers you prolly get em both from randoms so use em and try for the plate if it's a real chore and you hate randoms forget one shammy weapon

Ok, thanks for the reply. I'll leveling questing, so tanking it's not a problem.
I try to buy chest and shoulder mail for hunter-shammy, and plate shoulder for war. I'll share mail chest: it's not ideal and strong as plate one, but is only a single piece in the set, so....I have a Blacksmith pg, so i can craft during 1-80 some good pieces for War.
I'll take the two handed sword, and on mace for the shammy, and the bow.

The only doubt is about Cata: these heirlooms stop scaling and giving xp bonus at 80. From 80 to 85 we need the new heirloom (scaling 1-85), that probably give 40% xp bonus!
I was wondering if it's a good idea wait cata for the new heirloom bonuses, but in this case should wait a lot of time before i could get all pieces i'll need...what do you think about that?
Farming now WOTLK heirloom and leveling now, or wait Cata for new heirloom, that give a great boost to leveling?

I'm inclining for the first (for many years we leveling without heirloom, so ), but i wanna read your replies

Sounds rather pointless to wait for cata heirlooms just to get the 80-85 scaling.. If you did that, you would have to wait several months before leveling them as cata have to be released, you have to level and gear up a level 80 character in the cata content... THEN you have to start farming emblems for all the heirlooms all over again - and that is, assuming you don't want to spend any emblems on the newly dinged 85. If you did that, it would just make the process even longer

Ya, you right. I continue to farming emblem for heirloom to level the 3 alts to 80, than, when Cata arrives, i'll level 80-85 without heirloom...it's not a drama.

    Recapitulating:
Shoulder and Chest mail for Hunter/Shammy - 80 emblems
Shoulder plate for War (if possible also chest) - 40/80 emblems
Two handed Axe for Shammy till 40/ War till 80 - 65 emblems
Bow for Hunter - 65 emblems
1 Dagger or 1 mace for Shammy from 40 to 80 (2 is better, but too much emblems) - 40/80 emblems

TOTAL: 290-370 emblems. I think i'll start to buy the necessary to farm first levels, and simultaneously farming the restan heirloom.

Don't forget about trinkets. Getting 2 x 2% of your health (or mana) back per kill is quite worthwhile. Plus it takes ages to fill the trinket slot when levelling up.

I wouldnt worry about the difference. I am currently leveling 9 alts at once and i dont use plate heirlooms. I have a set of cloth heirlooms and the caster staff for all my caster toons (tree/boomy druid, priest, resto shaman, warlock and mage). I use the pvp leather shoulders(they got Agi on them) and the emblem leather heirloom chest for all melee toons(feral druid, prot warrior, prot paly, rogue and frost tank dk). I have all the weapons possible to best fit my toons thou. Oh dont forget the trinkets got haste and the other has spell power. Also the bow is good for hunters, rogues and warriors for extra Hit, Crit and AP.

I love Agility and you should too. Agi gives you Crit and its the best scaling stat at low lvls. Agi gives you all kinds of good stuff for all classes. My warrior and paladin are over 40 now and i thought i should go ahead and use the plate heirlooms for them but i dont. The heirlooms will change from leather to mail or mail to plate if they are meant to but i dont need them. I have an Auction House geared Holy Paladin that heals me when im tankin and we do excellent. I do so well in fact people never notice i am wearing leather unless they mess up and i point out something about them(hunter with pet growl on and so on). I get compliments all the time from people that play their class well also. So its not like a bunch of noobs are in awe of my "skill".

So you dont need every set to do well. But if you dont have fun tankin huge piles of mobs and testing your limits in lesser gear then you may want to get those plate heirlooms. there just not necessary is all i am saying. love you .peace

Stack Strength, Strength and more Strength! Agi sucks hard!

Lol, Ok, the plate gear is ideal, but the idea of a warrior in leather is just... lol.

Dont forget, you can use the bow on your warrior as well. The stats are useful even to a non hunter.

And the 2 maces on the shammy are amazing. Suck it up and get the extra 40 badges. Well worth it.

Well if you waited until cataclysm to level then it would be a much smotther way to level. The redesigned questflows are that much better then the way the old world is now.

If you did want to tank however the BoA's from Wintergrasp are the best as they have a bit more stam than the Badge BoA's

    Omg, i'm so confused.
I'm so entangled by leathers heirloom, and probably, at the end, i'll choose them.
Plates are best, but with only two piece a shouldn't recognize the difference....i hope :P
