    earthquake actually does pretty good

i was able to stay in the top few for all the aoe trash, for the 2 hours we tried to do h icc25

at one point with the 30% buff and with magma totem down too i was doing 40k and pretty far ahead of the other classes, except for 1 lock that caught up and beat me by a little at the end

and it's a lot nicer having a 1 button aoe rotation instead of a 4 or 5 lol

i figured some people who weren't able to raid tonight might be curious to know how it does

and my average fulmination crit was 30.7k, lvb 24k, lvb overloads 18k, and rolling thunder ended up giving me 39k mana through the fight

we've also got a lot more spell power than other casters now, at least warlocks, the 2 warlocks in my guild always had a lot more sp than me but now i've got 1-200 more

That's because new Flametongue gives like 700 spellpower <3

    How did you AoE exactly?

Magma totem, Fire Nova, Thunderstorm, Earthquake, Fire Nova, Earthquake, Fire Nova, Earthquake, Fire Nova, refresh when needed?

i wasn't even doing that, i was just sitting back and spamming earth quake for the most part lol, by itself it would keep up with the other aoes pretty easily

    That's good!

Also, did you see if the damage increased with spellpower? It should, but since it's Physical damage I've always had this doubt...

Of course it's increased by SP, should be clear >_>
There's no way in hell Blizz would implement an Elemental (aka Caster) AoE and not make it scale with SP.

Yes, it would be really weird if it didn't.

...but it's not first time Blizzard does some facepalming stunt, is it?

    the only important question is

In what boss fights did u use it and how did it perform.

cause i could spend the point somewhere else, i go afk in most trash pulls anyway, like trash is serious business :P

So mr magical shaman who can spec into something more important

    http://wowtal.com/#k=_bW97JkY.a5o.shaman.

That covers everything we can possible get and need no more possible damage gains only mana which atm isnt a issue you cant spec into the run speed as its impossible till 81 so how will you spend this 1 talent point?

On ptr it was scaling with SP and haste for me so was a pretty nice spell. Im from eu : ( still bloody down

You cannot put points in other trees without the 31 point talent. So Earthquake is mandatory.

This is false, you just need 31 pts.

im going like this - http://wowtal.com/#k=l186kchM.a5o.shaman.

Also i dont get why people still go for elemental reach when ST is still at 20y.

Edit: possible 3 points in elemental warding, it will all depends on how stressull infest healing will be for healer now.

Because not all fights are stand-and-nuke, some require add nuking and it's good to have range while your searing stays on boss.

    Like, for example, Putricide.

I'm curious about why you have reverberation anyway. Flame Shock is not gonna fall of the target, so we don't need it for level 80. With 4t10 that is.

on putri fight i already position so ST is always active, but i guess this changes from guild to guild and teh way they do their kills, also like Marrowgar we dont move away on bone storm cause we have paladins doing their magic.

and as u said u will change targets in some fights, and i think that in those cases Reverb, may help.

I first need to see it in action, when EU servers get up and we raid tonite, but that is teh spec im going on this first day while our other elemental shaman most likelly will take EQ, and we can then compare ourselves in the end

come to think about it, does anyone knows if Valks get affect by the secondary effect of EQ
