    Nature's Grace Question

Hi, i did a quick search but was unable to find anything answered about this. if you have a link to any info that would be appreciated.

    My question is three-fold.
First: When you cast moonfire and gain nature's grace, is that moonfire affected by natures grace.
Second: If it is not affected, is it then worth casting a second moonfire. for example: MF>IS>MF>Nukes
Finally: are the effects of nature's Grace persistant on DoTs? i.e. does the dot maintain the 15% speed for the duration of the dot, or does the haste bonus expire when Nature's Grace fades?

First: No, when you get a proc be it talent trinket or otherwise the spell and or dot that caused the proc are not effected by the proc buff. The next spell/dot are though.
    Second: See Above
Third: DoTs are more so effected by Haste now with 4.0.1 changes.

i dont think you understood my question entirely.

question 2 is about the difference in DPS between these 2 situations:
    a) MF>IS>Nuke>Nuke
    b)MF>IS>MF>Nuke
Is it more beneficial to recast the moonfire to gain the effects of natures grace on it, or is it better to just cast an additional nuke.

question 3 is not about wether dots are affected by haste. i know they are. it is whether the 15% haste from Natures grace disappears from a DoT when the buff expires, or is it locked in for the duration

I'm not sure about recasting moonfire. But the dots are affected by nature's grace (and other haste buffs) for the whole dot duration even if the haste buff itself drops off.

Always lead with Insect Swarm at the beginning of every eclipse and then Moonfire/sunfire and start spamming Wrath/starfire

anserw to question number 2: no it is not worth casting moonfire again just for the 15% haste you would just waste a GCD for a small haste buff on moonfire. Nuke > 15% haste on MF, you should know that by yourself =)

Recast Moonfire. Lunar Shower damage and reduced mana cost, = profit.

    2) It is almost never worth recasting DoTs. For it to be worthwhile, the second dot cast needs to be at least equal to an equivalent damaging spell in the same time. The extra 15% haste on your second DoT cast will almost never be worth the loss of the extra global and one global's time inside the 15% haste (ex. instead of 10 hasted wraths you only get 9). For a definitive answer, I would check EJ's for theorycrafting. Personally, I would not recast it.

(Additionally, when you proc lunar eclipse, it is more beneficial to cast starfall first and then DoTs since starfall doesn't benefit from haste. Just an aside.)

    3) DoT crit/SP/haste values are calculated on the initial cast and on refreshes. They are not being consistently re-calculated.

    That is incorrect.
Until Sunfire is fixed (see: 4.0.3), it is more beneficial to lead with Sunfire then cast Insect Swarm.
