Favorite Expansion Event

With the final phase of the Cataclysm event live it is time to pick your favorite event. Whether it be for the items, the lore, or just the pure fun of the event is up to you to decide.

I think it's too early to vote, since there's still more left to the pre-expansion event (the shattering). But, as of now (and since I've only experienced the pre-Wrath and the pre-Cata stuff so far) I'd say pre-Wrath was more entertaining, more involving. Just being a zombie and zombifying your pals and random people that annoy ya, there's not much that will beat it.

I'd consider the Shattering more on par with the expansion than the expansion's event. Otherwise it would be a no brainier for which one is the best.

I agree. Thus far I have enjoyed the pre wrath event with the zombies better. I took over Camp T with an iron zombie fist back then...good times. I saw the opening of the Dark Portal but I was really new back then so I was like "ok...whatever...im lvl 25 so I dont care"

Wrath Event was alright .. but was relly repetative, same as Cata ... BC was fun but i like Cata the most so far

Zombies, best part of wrath technically wasn't even part of wrath.

Zombie event was a lot of fun because as a zombie you could interact with a lot of game objects that normal players could not.
Open and close doors, gates, ect. That you normaly could not do. I had a lot of fun with that exploring and finding these objects.

Was pretty fun to close the door to the PvP vendors in Orgrimmar and Stormwind as a ghoul. A lot of players being confused about not being able to buy their epics!
Or to open the gate to Hyjal in Winterspring it has a cool animation that I doubt many players have seen without looking in the game files.

Still voted for Burning Crusade - Opening of the Dark Portal because I loved how Kruul destroyed major cities with his shadowbolt volley spam calling out your name as you fell to the ground! <3

They said that Kruul would replace Kazzak in Azeroth since Kazzak moved to Outland but after the events Kruul was never seen again!

all the launch events really weren't that entertaining. mainly the end game pve content is what's fun.

I didn't do the BC event (was on a vacation), and I don't like the elemental invasion event very much. Every boss but the fire one just throws you in the air and does some AoE; there's no reason to do them all more than once, unless you're still trying to gear up. The invasion itself, while it is actually really cool at first, gets boring after five minutes. The quests leading up to it weren't bad, but nothing to write home about.

I thought the zombie event was amazing. So yeah, that's what I voted for.

I wasn't around for the other BC and WotLK events but the Cata event is kind of boring.

the cata event is kinda fun at first then after 10 mins the fun wears off then its annoying. the quest wear kinda ok nothing great just ok. wrath pre event was better more funimo.

I kinda prefer the cata event. The zombies were great mindless fun for a while, but the way the cata event is working, i feel more involved with the storyline. The wrath event felt kinda like they said 'heres some randomness for awhile, go nuts'.

Zombie invasion was the best. At least this one really felt like a real invasion (unlike elemental). Plus, nothing beats the fun of gathering an army of zombies and attacking random citys, friends and foes alike.

This invasion lacks one very important thing: vanity items.

All we have gotten so far is a feat of strength, a robe identical to one we can already obtain, and some gear which will be obsolete.

Last year we had one feat, one pet, one vanity item (ghost memento),Arcanite ripper, Argent dawn tabard, argent horn and all the gear rewards.
