Custom Chat Channel Bugged

Ever since I installed cata, I seem to be unable to talk in the custom channel my raid leader made. I can see other people talking in it, and it IS listed in my chat channel list, yet when I type /1 to talk in it, nothing happens. I get the "type /help for commands..." error. Another issue is that most of the time, the "Chat" tab is bugged and doesn't show anything at all. I seem to be unable to leave the channel too, either by /leave or right clicking on the channel and selecting leave.

...yet normal(general, trade etc) chat channels work just fine. Is this a known issue?

Tried relogging, that didn't work. Disabling addons didn't work. Reboot, didn't work.

Are you sure it's channel #1?
See if this sends a message to the channel:

/run SendChatMessage("This is a test message", "CHANNEL", nil, 1)

I feel that this is a bug with any chat channel in the /1 position. I was unable to talk in general yesterday, but I could still read it. This cleared up after a couple hours.
