Alright, so my guild has everything down to p2, where we have to focus elementalists and etc, thing is.. we keep getting random deaths because of volatile fire not spreading enough or not spreading correctly.. so my idea was to make a WA/Bigwiggs/whatever works that put markers (X, Skull, star, etc) on the people with volatile fires.. so everyone in raid just have /range up.. and see where the icons are going.. and the people with volatile fire dont run in the same path as another .. so PLEASE HELP ME! help my guild start wiping on blackhand

I don't know about bigwigs, but DBM puts the /say chat bubbles on people and has them do a count down from in /say for when it expires. If that+voice communication isn't enough, then I don't think a weakaura will do you any good, no offense.

this will give you a countdown in /s for volatile fire from 8 second > expiration at second intervals.

fwiw there are no need for markers, bigwigs and dbm should both have a range checker enabled on the fight which shows you the distance you need to be safe. my WA simply gives players a countdown so they're able to maximise DPS and move at around 2-3~ seconds if they take the volatile fire while an elementalist can be dpsed

Going with a WA that everyone in your raid needs seems a bit overkill. As Floopa said, you should already have a range checker from your favorite boss addon, and the people who have the debuff are pretty easy to tell because of the swirly fiery thing (that's the official name) that shows when someone has the debuff on them. Its pretty easy to spot in my experience, even when things get hectic.
