How to turn back on when i gain buffs etc?

I miss being able to see when i gain trinket procs and what not spelled out on the screen, is there a way to enable these again or was that removed? Like combat states and all those words that would pop up on my screen.

I know i did not explain what i mean well lol, but prior to legion patch things would pop up on my screen like <leaving combat> <megawatt filament> <megawatt filament faded> or something like that, im like 99% sure it wasnt an addon does anyone know how i can gain this functionality back?

Maybe you just need to turn on Scrolling combat text.
press ESC go to Interface, tap on Combat and check the combat text option.

if you want an addon replacement you can may thought of one of these 3:
MikScrollingBattleText, Parrot 2 or ScrollingCombatText.

if you just want to adjust the combat text from blizzard use AdvancedInterfaceOptions, go to the CVar Browser and type combattext in the textfield.
go over every entry and set it to 1 if you want it to activate and 0 if you dont need it (discription is in tooltip and names are self explaining).
