I think many warriors do this differently, how do you do it and what do you think is best?

Being Arms I do all of the above depending on situation :P
I have a cleaving / tclapping macro, I spam HS when rage is ~infinite (Fester), time it with swing timer when rage is thin
I have them keybound to my mouse wheel. HS is wheel up, Cleave is wheel down. I use them whenever I think I have the rage to use em.

Spam the whole fight. Sure, if I'm low rage I stop, but for all of a second or two and it's back to spam.
THIS!!!! i just keybind it to my keyboard and spam HS for single target and cleave for 2 or more targets i bind my other spells to my mouseOriginally Posted by Bilbobubblin
i press the button and the magic happens
Basically:
When rage is above 60 (fury) or above 70 (arms) use Heroic Strike/Cleave.
Scars show you the remnants and failures of the past.
~¡¡¡!!!AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP ASKING ABOUT MY AVATAR, I DON'T KNOW!!!¡¡¡~
This is exactly what mine are set to. After playing with various keybinds for these skills I settled with the mouse wheel.Originally Posted by invadermak
I have a transparent swing timer than takes up the width of the screen so I don't feel the need to spam it. I scroll the mouse wheel once during the duration of the swing timer, which is on average about 2.7 seconds per swing as fury, and 1.6 seconds when tanking. Removes the need to mash your fingers.

HS macro'd to BT - r
HS macro'd to WW - e
HS macro'd to Slam - f
Cleave macro'd to WW - q
Execute Macro'd to Mouse Wheel press
DW/Reck to tab
Intercept is 1
Sunder is 2
Pummel 3
Intercept Refresh 4
Stance swap to rend Macro'd to 5
Shield wall - weapon swap - re-equip macro 6
That's about 95% of the stuff that happens in fights these days...honestly I click pots and such (ya ya I know)
When you shoop da whoop, you feel powerful and don't want to lose it, and then a guy in plate armor comes and turns your woop against the shoop, hence, making you got laz0red.

Im a tank. I spam either depending on rage total.
My question for you is how do you prioritize rage when it is below 30?Originally Posted by Battousai

For Heroic Strike:
I use the '3' as well as a macro on the Mousewheel for:
/startattack
/cast bloodthirst
/cast heroic strike
I use both methods because I like to be anal.
For Cleave I switch to a different action bar where my Mousewheel uses this macro:
/startattack
/cast whirlwind
/cast cleave
I have sufficient gear, rage is never a problem.

Without confirming, or denying anything being in my possession/use:
G15 Keyboard macro with ( -> = key press <- = key release)
/start
-> 1
<- 1
/end
Where 1 is the hot bar button for HS.
Is by far, the best way. You press it, and when you get low on rage, you press it again. It stops the macro immediately, resulting in 1 more queue after your intended stop time.
I tank while leveling with UA/imp revenge spec, so I am tanking with 1 button macro:
#showtooltip
/cast Revenge
/cast !Cleave
or for Single target the same with Heroic Strike...
then just shieldblock and spam spam spam.
As a tank i go for
/startattack
/cast Thunder Clap
/cast Cleave

I'm prot.
I have HS macro'd with Revenge, so I keep spamming that button when single target tanking and have excess rage (almost always on single target).
For cleave I time the weapon swings, 1 is devastate and shift 1 is Cleave
Rage isn't a problem with 100% uptime on flurry. I really can't remember the last time I ran out of rage in 25s. There was the odd 1-2 times I ran low on the bugged 4 piece night when I was spamming slam every cd other than ww or BT.Originally Posted by ProteinOrcWarrior

i spam whatever is suited, when i got more than 60ish rage...
i love seeing 3 cleave crits per swing
