My friend recently got his account back, it was hacked when he wasn't playing. I was checking out his characters activity and he killed Talon King Ikiss 20 times apparently. His mailbox is full of greys, primal nethers and we are still just discovering things as we go. Why would they farm Sethekk halls, anyone know?

They used to farm Shadow Labyrinth, abusing a known bug to reset the chests. Blizzard fixed this bug, and now they're all in Sethekk Halls when they get hacked. I'd imagine there is an exploit they can take advantage of, or maybe just a very good botting script for the dungeon.
All 5 people I've seen hacked have ended up in Shadow Labyrinth, except for the 2 after the bug fix, which have ended up in Sethekk.

That's funny, when I was hacked back in TBC, when I finally got back in, I found myself outside Slabs by the vendor.

When my friend's account (Hunter) was compromised in BC they farmed Ramparts as well, but when my account (Mage) was compromised in BC, they farmed Dire Maul West ¯\(º o)/¯

Lots of sell-able stuff from trash. When my buddy got hacked, he had 1800 more gold than when he started in 20 sethekk runs.

Well my hacker was not so smart-minded. He was in Wintergrasp actually fighting in the keep.

When my account was hacked, the only thing he did was create a level 1 toon and get banned for spamming/advertisement. Didn't even touch my 4 level 80s which had around 35k combined gold at the time
