Hagara ice phase

1. use divine shield
2. run into the bubble protecting hagara
3. take no dmg
4. stay inside
5. divine shield runs out
6. still stay inside and take no damage
7. proceed to attack the pillars while staying safe

No, because after the AMS/bubble runs out, they still continue to take no damage. Which is clearly unintended. This is assuming the OP is correct, of course. It's always a good idea to be wary of 1 post wonders.

Technically not an exploit then, AMS does what it is supposed to, (Makes you immune to new debuffs, and like the lava in Firelands - that single debuff is only applied ONCE - So blizzards fault, not an exploit.)

And unless specified in the Hagara spell that it bypasses immunities......

No, it's a bug. I'm pretty sure that it's intended to take the damage, and abusing it isn't supposed to happen.

Those who can avoid the damage in the shield can just stand there and nuke those Binding Crystals without worrying about running around avoiding slows and ice walls, making the fight a lot easier for them.

I can almost guarantee you that its not intended to be that way. Because you completely remove the relevance of the ice phase. That's more of a bug than an exploit since you really don't gain anything except not having to pass a retard check.

You can bubble and then jump in firelands lava, and not take any damage when bubble expires

and also post your findings in the Bug Report section of the official WoW forums

The first thought is how the top tier raiders think, but they know it's cheating.

The second thought is what blizzard says when they pass out bans for using the first thought. It's obviously not intended and needs to be fixed. This falls under the exploit category unfortunately.

Whether this is an exploit or not depends on the context.

If it was used by [whichever pve guild is currently #1] then it is a serious exploit, worthy of a permanent ban of the whole guild.
If it was used by [your favourite guild] then it is a clever use of game mechanics.

I can confirm this. Our paladin noticed it during one HM Hagara attempt. If you use an immunity while in the bubble, you never take damage even AFTER the immunity falls of. Definitely an exploit if used intentionally.

so is it an exploit in ZG when the cauldron boss fills the area with green gas and i use AMS to avoid having the debuff applied to me so i can stand an nuke instead of getting green cauldron?
