    Bloggers fight against swtor....

Have you noticed that? Famous MMO bloggers, like Tobold and Nils and others are flaming against swtor...I guess EA and Bioware didn't spent money to bloggers?

Today Tobold was bashing against swtor mutliplayer and among things he said that he take him too long to go to a flashpoint from the planet he is..while I get there in 5 min..(teleport to spaceport , get my ship and go to republic fleet....) and the worst of all he was whining that operation frames are too tiny and there is no option to make them larger!!!!

seriously now, I answer there in a polite manner and told him that I think he never even played the game, without using un-appropriate words..but guess what?my post never shown up in the list...

so lets say I am a new player and want to read about swtor..I open and read some famous blogs to bash some features of the game with huge lies and also hide from me the answers from people that actually played the game...

have you noticed the same thing? I was reading a lot tobold and Nils specifically but after this I will not even take them seriously again..
The trick of selling a FFA-PvP MMO is creating the illusion among gankers that they are respectable fighters while protecting them from respectable fights, as their less skilled half would be massacred and quit instead of “HTFU” as they claim.

Who are these people and why should people care what they say or respect their opinions?

Never even heard of them before.

I have never heard of Tobold and Nils either

Meh, I tend to ignore stuff like that unless EVERYONE says it's terrible. I'd rather try games out for myself and see whether I like them or not first hand.

Wha? Having a blog means that the game developers should pay me off? Dammit!

I'll grant you that Nils seems to be trying to get people to hate the game...he's even showing a picture of an open chest piece from the side to prove that "chest sizes don't make sense", that's intentional on his part and I'm very disappointed to see that.

I read the article from Tobold though and he has some fairly decent things to say, he even added an edit and fixed one of the complaints he had when he found a fix for the operation bars size. We have to realize that not everyone is going to enjoy the game the same way we do and some people may even find it off putting. Tobold seems to be doing it right though by pointing out fair criticisms while Nils seems to be intentionally degrading the game.

And I have to agree with people above me...I'd never heard of these people before.

You mean bloggers that Blizzard paid to flame EA? /tinfoil hat.

Who cares? SWTOR is a terrible MMO, all those people are right.

Never heard of him either but looking at the blog the comment about travel time was as a "pro" to why the LFD finder is nice. He also went back and edit out the comment about the frame size. Overall it isn't a horrible blog review, don't know what you are expecting one to be.

Not everyones opinion on some void space of a blog in the world has to be all praise along the same lines that you the reader wants it to be.

I've never paid any attention to bloggers. I find that, more often than not, they have their facts skewed and are incredibly biased.

I'm assuming that since you bolded it that you know, as well as I do, that option does exist and he was just missing it.

There is a way to get your point across, maturely. This is not it. - Buckwald

ahh the trolls are out in force. if you don't like the game more power to ya, but why waste your time posting your opinions here to people who do like the game? Do you guys enjoy wasting your time? =/

    WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
well I don't know if it is sarcastic or not, but the old MMO community at least know about Tobold :P

exactly..it is like that they don't express their feelings objectivle rather than they try to bash it whatever it takes..

I read the article from Tobold though and he has some fairly decent things to say, he even added an edit and fixed one of the complaints he had when he found a fix for the operation bars size. well I can agree that tobold is more "Light" than Nils in bashing, but even if he fixed it after that doesn't remove the thing that he made an article about a game and about a feature when it is so obvious that it didn't looked at it more than 2-3 seconds...when you consider your self serious bloger and you are about to write for something at least you need to have sent a lot of time on it in order to make a "review"..of course other bloggers are in the same way...

As you said no one is forced to enjoy a game, but it happens that I read nils long ago about his opinion about MMO's and how he would like the MMO to be and if you read him before it was like he was describing swtor lol...I just don't get it why so much hate to the game?why everyone try to convince us that "the game isn't fun, it is a single player game, we hate it but just we didn't realized it yet"

I ROFL's at the bolded part.....

I could start a blog and put on a serious face when I am blogging, and spout diarrhea out of my ass all day too, doesn't mean I'm right or anyone will listen though.

Welcome to the internet. Not everyone has the same opinion as you do and - while it was fun and conformist to love swtor before it launched - it will become increasingly more popular to bash it as it ages.

Bloggers, the internet equivalent of TV talking heads. They have to put up controversial shit or everyone ignores them.

A "Hearthstone" like to Fleet on a reasonable CD say 30mins would be a great addition to the game.

So...we're allowed to ignore SWTOR bashers if they're "famous" internet commentators, but we should listen to "famous" internet commentators if they bash WoW?

I love hypocrisy in the morning.
