    Opinion jc+alch or jc+ench .

Consider 2 professions on one toon.
Which combo between jc+alch or jc+ench is the best combo than another one?
    And why?

    Thank you for your opinion.

    Enchanting, IMO.

No other professions needed. More variety in what you can sell. Alchemy is effectively limited to the current 4 flasks and pots, and because of cauldrons, we use a lot less of them. Enchanting has dozens, so there's more likely to be something niche and profitable.

Having 2 hour for ordinary flasks, 4 hour for guild cauldrons is awesome. Therefore Alchemy.

Money? JC, Enchanting, Skinning, Mining, Herbalism. all very good money making professions

Money? AVOID ENGINEERING LIKE THE FUCKING PLAGUE. seriously, it's a money black hole compared to any other profession.

Min/Max? Blacksmithing and Enchanting, LWing, Alchemy, and possibly Mining if you're a tank (also if you're a tank LWing is best in slot, +195 stamina VS 50 dodge)

Min/Max? AVOID Engineering. the synapse springs are nice for burst, but are terrible for sustained DPS unless you can hit them on EVERY SINGLE COOLDOWN. Also, melee with the tailoring cloak enchants are laughable, Tanks get nothing from tailoring at all.

If you want to make money, enchanting it pretty good by itself, especially if you are running dungeons regularly. I would go with JC as my second profession if you really want to kill it; green quality garbage items that you craft with JC will be your main source of mats for enchanting. Alchemy is also good, especially if you know what potions/elixirs sell most on the server, and transmutate spec makes ton of money. It all depends, do you have other toons who are herbalist, or miner that can support JC or alchemy? If not you would have to play AH which requires time to master.

I already have enchanting. It worth to level double enchanting on alt?

or only 1 enchanting is enough.

I would say you only need 1 of them It''s really a pain in the butt to level up enchanting, and you gain the +80 stat as with most of the other professions.
and you would need to get all the recipies twice also, think about all the bracer enchants, expensive that also non the less, and thats not all of em

The self gain is ofc if it is a leveling toon, you could DE tons of gear on the way to 85, atleast if you are questing your way forward and not dungeoning, which will bring it down lots due to "dung" enchant roll.

Nah, Multiple enchanting i vote down, I got 2 of em, And i do wonder why I did the second, she is only sitting at bonus level, I never use it.

Depends on what you're doing with that Character. I have Alchemy on my main because I used to raid 3-4 times a week, back in the day I had to provide my own flasks. I loved it that they lasted 2 hours instead of just 1, so I just needed 2 flasks per raid rather than 4.

Now with the guild perks I need only 1 per raid, but as I can see in the MMO news feed they'll change it:

    Guild Perks

    * The Doctor Is In (Level 10) - Increases healing received from bandages by 25%. Does not work in battlegrounds and arenas. Replaces Chug-A-Lug.
    * For Great Justice (Level 20) - Increases Justice points gained by 20%. Replaces Happy Hour.
    * Ride Like the Wind (Level 21) - Increase flight path travel speed by 25%. Replaces Have Group, Will Travel.
    * Working Overtime (Level 22) - Increases the chance to gain a skill increase on tradeskills by 20%. Replaces Chug-A-Lug.
    * Time Off (Level 27) - Increases rest gained by 100%.
    * Otherworldly Discounts (Level 30) - Reduce Void Storage and Transmogrification costs by 10%.

So no more double duration of flasks.

If you are a raider, go with Alchemy, if you're not and you don't have an Enchanter already, go with Enchanting. If you have Enchanting already, then it really doesn't matter. Alchemy is alot cheaper to level though, and with Inscription one of the easiest. Alchemists are nice if you go with Transmutation Mastery, this is the way I'm making myself Inferno Rubies these days cause the AH prices are for whatever reason ridiculous. I'm actually making all gems with it. Can't be arsed to pay 250-350g for a damn blue gem :P Really depends on your server though.

How about JC I should have double or triple or only 1 ?

  12. #12
Same there really, if you do got one there is no need for another JC. It doesnt do anything except adding the stat bonus and the Prism, which can contribute a small chunk of gold, but isnt really worth making a second JC for

Maybe the Mount will have cooldown in MoP I have no clue, but if you thinkin about getting more gold out of having 2 jc you are out fishing

Master of Transmutation can make gold faster than Disenchant items from dungeons right?
So enchanting should have only 1 toon right?

    Thank you.

Enchanting on one toon is enough but make sure it is the one that you will be running dungeons most; better to pick a healer or tank that has shorter queue times, time=gold.

Transmutate has a CD, at least for the gold making transmutations, so don't expect to get rich in a short time. IF you were running dungeons constantly, you will make more gold from disenchanting greens and selling weapon/armor scrolls.

JC+enchanting, you always can find alchemist with transmute spec to transmute carnelians into rubys for some tip, but you won't find enchanter willing to disenchant four digit amount of rings/necklaces. But if you have an alt it's 100% worth it to have all 3 professions.

  16. #16
If you're going to level a prof on more than one toon, level up transmute alch for the cooldowns. Enchanting is painfully slow and expensive to level unless you can easily solo dungeons.

it doesn't matter anymore. they're all equal. everything is so watered down that your choices just dont' matter much. take what you want.

If one of your characters already has enchanting, then JC/Alch. Multiple enchanter toons kinda defeats some of the purpose, since one can handle everything you need.

Been JC/Alch since I dropped tailoring for Alch with the big healer Alchemist Stone rush of Sunwell. There has been no real reason to switch.
