    Strange fps problem with D3

On the first day of playing D3, everything was looked pretty smooth once I turned on v-sync so the game wouldn't tear and it was at a consistent 60 fps. Just yesterday I noticed that when loading in to a new game or pretty much anything considered to be a load screen, once I can move my character again, my fps drops to 40 and stays like that until I alt tab out and back in again. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

I've "HEARD" V-sync is having issues, I would suggest turning it off and seeing if that clears everything up... if not, please let us know!

Ah I didn't mention that turning off v-sync makes the game much choppier and the fps spikes are very noticeable to me. However, I did some reading and while there are a lot of stuttering issues popping up, someone said that by changing their monitor, their stuttering stopped. The first night I was playing using my old crappy 23” LG LED monitor. The next day, I switched to my 120hz BenQ monitor. While my problem isn’t rendering the game unplayable, it’s just an annoyance to tab in and out to fix the fps and I would be rather disappointed if the monitor is what is causing it to happen considering it is quite an expensive monitor :P

You might want to turn the v-sync off and enable the fps limiter from the ingame settings. Set it to something your pc can do in any possible situation (like 30, 35).
