I had a 41 and another got (2nd in order) a 41 and then he won. How is it determined?

afaik the game does another secret roll between those two who rolled same numbers
aaaah nice to know lol thx :P had that happen to me some times and i never got how it's determined lol
I wonder why it is hidden.
Never knew this, always seemed to Think it was done Alphabetically. Even though that way would be unfair.
I once lost Precious Ribbon during a guild run when me and some1 else rolled the exact same, he won the Ribbon. And now he hasn't even logged in for 2 years ><
I was awarded the 'Needy' achievement (win an item with a need roll of 100) on a roll for which I actually lost the item. I rolled 100 and so did another player. The achiev popped up but I lost the second internal roll, thus losing the item.

If two people roll (1-100), there are 10.000 different combinations. 1 and 1-100, 2 and 1-100 and so forth. Out of those 10.000 different combinations there are 100 with identical rolls. 100 : 10.000 (or 1 :100) is therefore correct. It's pretty the much the odds of having the 2nd person roll the same as the 1st person.
