Kitten thrown out three story window, lives

    Ex-boyfriend = biggest douche-bag ever

I'm trying to imagine what the guy yelled as he tossed the poor thing out the window.

Small animals, like kittens, have a relatively low terminal velocity. So, this is not surprising.

An elephant, on the other hand, hitting the ground at its terminal velocity would not just die, it would splash.

Exactly, he probably knew this and picked the safer animal.

I would have to give the guy mad props if he single-handedly threw a fully-grown elephant out of his apartment window.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

I say we test it by tossing the guy out the window.

Anyone that could just try to kill a kitten should be throw into the Amazon jungle. If you can hurt a kitten, you are an inhuman beast unworthy of living in society. I mean really, how can you look at a kitten and just think "I'm gonna kill it"? Especially with the idiotic motivation of being sour about a break-up.

I thought the terminal velocity was the same for any object, regardless of weight. The reason the elephant would die would be because it cannot absorb the impact of the landing, it would collapse to its own weight.

Well... Let's not get too hasty here -

FUCK HIM THE DICK! I always feel that the way people treat animals shows there personality.

My brother for example, microwaved a hamster at age 7 (He was shouted at by a very large police officer, i wasn't there to *supervise him* as i was out with my mother shopping. And my grandmother who was supposed to be there, ended up going out drinking)

He's now quite violent, and short tempered - but also autistic, but he didn't show any remorse for it afterwards.

Terminal velocity varies by mass, shape, size, and orientation. It's the point where acceleration due to gravity is canceled by the deceleration due to drag (wind resistance). An elephant will fall wayyyyy faster (but also take longer too reach) at terminal velocity. A steel plate will have a lower terminal velocity than a steel spike of the same weight.

Autism ... doesn't really affect the ability to show remorse. Being a sociopath does ... Killing small animals is like one of the biggest international warning signs ever.

I do understand, the police officer put on his file a record of animal abuse or w/e and recommended counseling - but ultimately my mother stopped making him attend after 2 sessions.

The clinic itself was more tooled to sexual assault victims of a young age, but i rarely talk with my brother or to a larger extent my family. There too bigoted towards 1, my sexuality. And 2, my choices in life...

Humans do not handle being thrown out windows well. Cats can fall from stupid high places with relative ease. Not a fair punishment.

Dick punch is suitable if it is done by a professional.

Terminal velocity occurs when resistance from drag equals acceleration due to gravity which wouldn't happen from 3 floors up. You're right though it's not affected by weight, although it does change with aerodynamics.

It can't be worse than shovel dog, but probably shouldn't link it on here.

I wouldn't because I love kittens but I wouldn't also wish harm to people EVEN if they acted like pieces of trash.

If anything, he should have tossed from higher up. Don't ask how they got these results.
