I recently rediscovered the Mr Bean sketches. I watched a lot of them when I was younger and laughed untill I cried. But now they seem boring. They all have their funny moments and I still enjoy them, some of them still make me laugh untill I lose my breath, but most of the time I actually find it dumb. When I look now at Mr Bean I kinda see a mentally challenged person.
So what's your opinion on Mr Bean?

I think it's mostly a kids thing. I can't say I've ever watched enough of them to have a proper opinion on them, but I don't really find the whole "Laughing at people with learning difficulties" thing funny.

It can be pretty funny at times. I do know, or so the show QI would have me believe, that Germany is absolutely crazy for Bean; and it's also one of the few shows in the world (perhaps the only one for that matter) that essentially does not require subtitles or dubbing, meaning that it gained worldwide popularity quite easily.

Never been fond of Mr. Bean. So I voted Unfunny. Sure, he can come across as retarted or annoying , but for most part it's because I don't find him funny.

Was never a fan of Mr Bean really, not my kind of humor. Rowan Atkinson his stand-up comedy and other shows were pretty damn hilarious though. Biggest issue is that everyone instantly sees him as Mr. Bean, while he's much much more then that lame, nearly silent, character.

It was on quite often when I was younger. It wasn't my favourite by far, but I must've been entertained, because I always stayed and watched it. Nowadays I don't enjoy it, but as others say, it's probably mostly aimed at kids. Rowan is still cool tho!

When I watched it for the first time as a kid I tought it was super funny, now its kinda nostalgic funny.
Rowan Atkinson is one of the best actors of all time tough, I always tought Blackadder was way more hilarious.

I like it because I often see real life situations in it and how awkwardly he reacts to them. He sucks in close to any movie he has made though, we he sucks in all movies hes made. I can't judge on the standup comedy as I never bothered with it.

Depends, some things are funny, but I'm generally not that fond of obvious over the top humor.
I'm more the black & mean humor kind of person.
That being said I find American dad hilarious at times.
First season was the best.I always tought Blackadder was way more hilarious.
The others were quite dull / annoying.

When I was younger (a kid) - super funny.
Nowadays - Nostalgic, kinda funny.
I shall vote - Funny.

Never been a huge Mr Bean fan, but good god I love Blackadder.

It had some funny parts, but the dubbed laughter got on my nerves and was so over exaggerated.

I actually thought the first season was pretty dull; probably because Blackadder just seemed so...weird/awkward, compared to the other seasons where he had a bit of wit/savvy about him. Originally Posted by Granyala
