    Imminent Libyan Civil War

Libya in crisis: Rival militias position themselves for civil war as country disintegrates
Libya is tipping toward all-out civil war as rival militias take sides for and against an attempted coup led by a renegade general that has pushed the central government towards disintegration.

In a move likely to deepen the crisis, the army chief of staff, whose regular forces are weak and ill-armed, called on Islamist-led militias to help preserve the government.
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)

Makes you wonder if any of the governments created by the Arab Spring will survive.

I got to be honest, I laughed at this.

Gaddafi getting overthrown was probably worse for the next generation or so of Libyans. It might be better after the dust settles, but I wouldn't be to hopeful.

You mean Gaddafi was hated and despised as a brutal oppressor when he was around, but now he's gone people will start wishing he was back? So like, he's Ghostcrawler?

When you say first-hand, do you mean sending a committee of Republicans to Libya?

Ya know, we had a civil war a long time ago, and indeed most Western nations did. Peaceful transitions are nice, but they are not always going to work.

See? If Obama hadn't meddled and killed Gaddafi in a drone strike, then Lybia wouldn't be in a state of chaos and Benghazi wouldn't have happened.

Considering the USA/EU killed Kadhafi only because he wanted to create a money made of gold (the modern gold dinar) for north africa and muslim countries to counterbalance the dollar and the euro and have people buy this money to buy petroleum instead of buying dollars (something which could have been a big blow in the US economy) ... they couldn't care less about which people they needed to give weapons and power to to destroy Kadhafi's government. In this case they gave weapons to islamist extremists and now the country who was accepting christians before, is under the rule of charî'a, womens are forced to have their face covered, christians are persecuted, and the conflict has been contaminating other africans countries like Chad, Central African Republic and Sudan.

But who cares if all these people die? Our dollars are saved !

Hint : Saddam Hussein was willing to sell petroleum for Euro instead of dollars before Bush Jr provided us evidences that Iraq was a great threat a few month later.

The UK and France dragged the US into libya to save the US dollar from a gold standard?

You forgot to explain how blackwater and the CIA staged the the protest/rebellion and how it was really all being done at the behest of the Zionist.

Before the assassination of Gadaffi, Lybia was one of the most stable countries in africa.
And historically speaking, following an overthrow of an government a civil war is almost inevitable.

Gadaffi is a non-Muslim who helped the Serbs carry out genocide against Muslims in Bosnia.
