Ordos sure needs a nerf

6-8 healers can't keep up with the formerly inconsequential fire on the ground damage, everyone gets blown up and actually dies from falling damage, et cetera.

Or, maybe, healing shouldn't have been nerfed TO THE FUCKING GROUND.

If you could afk in it before then you should still be able to afk in it now. Anything else is inacceptable. They promised everything would feel the same, just the numbers are smaller.

I almost want to re-sub just to experience this chaos. Healers will quit because nobody wants to be blamed for the groups performance, even if it's a balancing issue and not a l2p issue.

Last time I tanked him few months ago constantly moving him out of fire, half of raid were like "wtf, why are you moving him?". I guess same people will now wipe over and over again on Ordos.

Which is why Blizz should have erred on the side of caution and nerfed everything to the ground. Garrosh is hilariously hard, btw. Midwinter's main raid got absolutely fucked by Mythic Garrosh.

If people could stand in fire before they should be able to do it now. That was the point of the stat squish, to reduce numbers without actually changing the game in a significant way.

It's a bug...The fire ticks for 1/3rd your health You shouldn't need to learn anything before doing ordos.

That isn't caused by stat squish, that is caused by removal of abilities and healing overhaul.

No, it's actually caused by the stat squish. The damage per tick of Ordos' fire is very high compared to pre 6.0. As a ret paladin, pre 6.0, I could basically be responsible for myself. When doing Ordos, all I had to do was make good use of DP and throw out the occasional FoL if I got no healing at all. Now Ordos is doing lethal amounts of damage even with DP up. Only defensive I lost was devo aura, and I don't typically use that for personal benefit anyway.
