Eh? Not sure the point here, the UK doesn't have much of a community for professional women's football whereas it's always been quite a big sport in the US & Japan.
Also the UK didn't win anything, we got knocked out in the semi-finals, the US won the cup and beat the reigning champions.
Not a chance in hell that a Soccer player gets put on our money.

I'm not seeing the point to this thread. Also, what sense does it make to put a sport's athlete, especially an underrated sport, on the currency?
What about Serena Williams (if she were le gay) or Mike Jordan (if he were le gay)? I mention them, since they are america's biggest champions the past few decades, are black and just threw in the gay part to add more significance to them, just their merits as it probably wouldn't be enough. Serena would have the trifecta.
