Who is on your Warcraft Mount Rushmore?

History and of course Popular culture, often compare people in a "Who is the greatest?" type of way. One way they do that, is by creating a hypothetical Mount Rushmore where only the greatest four are chosen.

With that in mind; Who is on your Warcraft Mount Rushmore? What are (in your opinion) the four greatest characters in Warcraft's history?

This was actually more difficult than I originally thought!



For me, it's Thrall, Sargeras, Arthas, and Medivh.



Honorable mentions would be Gul'Dan, Illidan, Lothar, and Malfurion.

A human, orc, undead and night elf would be the most appropriate to use as they symbolise the original 4 races of WC3

Undead: Kel'Thuzad
Orc: Thrall (WC3)
Night elf: Tyrande

so they are basically the ones that were also depicted on the WC3 box covers:

Bad guys: Lich King Arthas, Illidan (not really bad, but chaotic and ruthless), Gul'Dan and Deathwing
Good guys: Jaina (before she went mad over the destruction of Theramoore), Aduin (a perfect diplomat and philanthropist), Wrathion (I still think he is a good guy, he warned us about the next Legion invasion) and Bolvar (what a selfless act and a true paladin to his king)

Demons and Old Gods are out, they're in a diff category - only mortals.

Therefore:

- MU Gul'Dan (the orc who started it all)
- Thrall (obv - founded the Horde)
- Anduin Lothar (founded the Alliance)
- Medivh (bastard meddler of Azeroth)

Obviously there are many important characters, notably Arthas, the Night Elf leaders + Illidan, Jaina, Cairne, Sylvanas... but these 4 charcters were crucial in setting up the backbone of the story and starting the two factions in WoW.
